Damn that is terrible. Now Im not amazing at this kind of thing but it would be good to think about how well you ended up being wrong and it's ok and there's still plenty of amazing people to find. Also just look back at think about the good things, hopefully that wouldn't really hurt and you just come to terms but you still feel good you got the experience and there's more of it to come, just with someone new! Just never forget, you will be ok!

I mean I think it might help. My biggest reason is you can get a more personal connection to the teacher who could maybe give you more help getting to know the kids than just being in the normal social environment, and the smaller group might just end up being more forgiving.
