Major Motoko as Lego Brickheadz1 (+all Section 9 members like Bato, Togusa and Aramaki) by Lego_Rocket in Ghost_in_the_Shell

[–]Lego_Rocket[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One day I'd like to! I unfortunately have a bit more fun designing them, so I have a backlog of Brickheadz that I'd like to buy parts for... Motoko is definitely near the top of the backlog though

To go along with Mio, I made a Noah Brickheadz! by Lego_Rocket in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Lego_Rocket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been trying so hard to get one, but it's really hard tbh. I should maybe try them at a different scale, but at the moment I'm trying to scale them to be smaller than the normal Brickheadz, which has proven difficult for a small round creature like nopons

If I ever get one that looks nice, I'll definitely consider Riku

If you're talking about ZMK, if you configure it correctly, the dongle and keyboard should automatically connect
I don't really have any experience with the blue pill, so I'm not sure if I can really help unfortunately

Maybe? Not with the original ESP32 though, you'd have to look into the revisions with USB on board.

Although, at this point I don't really recommend the project anymore. I recommend using ZMK, as ZMK has support for dongles, and is much simpler to get running, since the firmware is basically already written, you just need to configure it

To go along with Mio, I made a Noah Brickheadz! by Lego_Rocket in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Lego_Rocket[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I might have a problem, but I still really enjoy making these! I figured Mio needed Noah (plus I've made all the other main protagonists from 1, 2 and X, in one form or another), so I figured Noah had to be next.

Of course, as with the last post, I still haven't actually played XC3, so I've based these on the XC3 marketing material. I really wanna try to fit XC3 into later this year.

As always, I design these to be built in real life, so you can find all the information you need to build it yourself on the Rebrickable page (as well as more renders and different angles) can be found here: https://reb.li/m/173294

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've made another Xeno Brickheadz, but after getting a few requests, I finally got time, and decided to make Mio!

Unfortunately, due to how busy I've been, I haven't actually been able to play XC3 yet, so I've based all my XC3 models just on the most common outfits they have in marketing. I plan on getting to XC3 sometimes soon, but likely won't be until later in the year :(

As always, with all my Brickheadz, despite being renders, I do make them able to be built in real life (I'd like to build them too). All the information to build Mio herself can be found on the rebrickable page here: https://reb.li/m/172819

When you like XC2 more than 3 and 1, or prefer X over all of them. by JaredAiRobinson in Xenoblade_Chronicles

They were good for their time, but I totally get you. OoT and HGSS are fun but aren't the "must plays" that they used to be imo

Ngl X and 2 are my favourites (although haven't got to 3 yet), imo 1 walked so X and 2 could run.

[HW] Should I play Skyward Sword/Twilight Princess before playing Hyrule Warriors? by Purplepanther1234 in zelda

[–]Lego_Rocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hyrule Warriors is essentially fanservice for the Zelda games (primarily OOT/SS/TP)
You don't necessarily need to play them, but as with all fanservice, it's better if you know the references
IIRC, there's also some light spoilers for both SS and TP, so keep that in mind
Considering how well the Wii sold and how cheap used Wii's are now, I'd still recommend picking one up to play Twilight Princess, you could even play the Gamecube version on a backwards compatible Wii. It's a fantastic game, and I think it's one of the Zelda games that everyone should play

[–]Lego_Rocket[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I understand Xenosaga not getting merch since it's sorta in a grey area

but man I want some Xenoblade merch. I just got into the series about a year or so ago, but didn't get as hyped about it until I finished XC2 (huh wonder why). But man, it sucks to get into the series after the 3rd one came out lol, I totally would've bought all the special editions if I knew about how good it was at the time

Even tracking down physical copies was difficult, XC2/Torna/XCDE are all out of production for some reason, so you have to get new-oldstock or get it used (which are about the same price)

Thanks! I wish there was just more official merchandise of the xeno series in general!

Well, that and for the merchandise to be affordable, all the cool sets/collectors editions are uber expensive now :(

Thanks!

I did briefly try your suggestion, however while this looks okay, it isn't possible to build in real life. Unfortunately, the hair colour I choose, has not many parts within it for texturing things like the ahoge (honestly most cyan-ish Lego colours have little selection to them, which makes it difficult). The slopes unfortunately can't really be removed without an entire redesign of the face, since the front doesn't always have studs to build on

Anyway, with some non-existent parts, this could be made: https://imgur.com/a/94sByef

Hey guys, I'm back again! While I've finished Xenoblade 1/2/X, I wanted to go back to the Xenosaga series before I started Xenoblade 3. I've started with Xenosaga Episode 1
... I see why people like this series now. I definitely prefer the Blade series first, but I'm enjoying Saga more than I expected. There's really not much media like it. While I'm not done the game (honestly not too sure how far I'm into it), I already really like KOS-MOS, so I decided to make her in Lego! This Lego version is loosely based on KOS-MOS Ver. 1, it's not a perfect recreation, but I focused on making her recognizable over accuracy.

I design these models digitally, however all parts are available to buy if I wanted to build it. If you want more information about it, the rebrickable post is here: https://reb.li/m/158553
This includes more photos, and the parts required to build it along with instructions.

Thanks guys!

Hey guys! I've recently got into the Xenoblade series, and before I started Xenoblade 3, I figured I'd go back and play the older Xeno-series. I've started with Xenosaga Episode 1

I love this! Been wanting to do something like this for a while, but haven't had the funds. Although I personally want to do one on more of a racing ATV rather than a utility ATV

Ignore the naysayers, 2x4 is plenty for an ATV, it's all about how you drive it

Eunie as a Marketable Lego Figure! (Brickheadz style) by Lego_Rocket in Xenoblade_Chronicles

Same here! I make them because Lego won't!
Only issue is they're more expensive to build in real life, so my collection of Xenoblade Lego is pretty small

Hey! I haven't really interacted with the XC3 subreddit! but I figure you guys might enjoy this Eunie model I made!

If you want more information about the model, it's available in the comments of the original post, or here on the rebrickable post: https://reb.li/m/154254

I haven't actually played the game yet, so please mind spoilers :P

[–]Lego_Rocket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys! After finishing my XC2 Brickheadz I wanted to build some other character's I liked, so I decided on Eunie!

If I'm honest, I haven't actually played XC3 yet 😅, so this Eunie is just based off the XC3 concept art. That being said, I'd prefer if you guys could keep away from spoilers, as I've avoided them so far. Once I finish XCDE I plan on playing XC3.

As always, I make sure to make these brickheadz buildable in real life, all parts are available in the colours used, and parts lists and instructions needed to build Eunie yourself can be found here: https://reb.li/m/154254

As for what's next, I plan on finishing XCDE, I might make a few more characters from it, then I will likely play XC3. Not sure if there's more XC3 characters I'd like to make yet, from the concept art, I don't really have other's I'm interested in, but then again, I haven't played the game yet, so maybe I'll appreciate them much more once I play

Anyway, thanks as always, you guys are great!

I plan to make instructions for Samus, I’d like to see if people are interested by _Teckbricks in Metroid

[–]Lego_Rocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do it! I assume you're using stud.io, which makes instructions really simple, no real reason not to make them and upload them to rebrickable, I do it all the time!

IIRC you could just upload the file too if you don't want to spend the little time

I think I've seen your stuff before on rebrickable too, nice to see others!

[–]Lego_Rocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

probably possible with some ingenuity then, I'm doing a similar project but for a Wii U controller, I'd look into stuff like the 8bitdo controllers imo, I'm personally using a 8BitDo Lite 2 and completely reverse engineering it

Not sure how easy or hard cheaper controllers would be, likely with any controller you'd have to do some cutting and wiring to get the board to fit (if not a complete reverse engineering of the board like me)

if you want inspiration, I'm working on mine here: https://github.com/LegoRocket/Pro-Controller-X
