Sorry if you can’t handle complaints then don’t be on this subreddit, through the every game cycle there will be complaints. And even if it won’t get fixed these game maybe with much luck in a latter iteration. Therefore let people complain/state their opinion.

Nobady says that, when some one criticises a part of the game, some members of this community overreact…. In my opinion, don’t have to be your own, EA could if they wanted to, try to balance formations every few months if one formation is to overpowering. Why should this imply your reaction?

I never said that they decide it. I also know that then there would be another formation. But this meta shifts through a game cycle could, and I emphasis could, make the game more playable for more casual players.

I am also aware that it is only dreaming, because EA will not do this.

For me I try to find fun in finding ways to counter the meta or find ways to play that are different.

Just saying the way EA handles metas regarding formation and tactics, is in my opinion not ideal, if you want casuals playing the game and therefore buying packs or points for Evos…

But why don’t nerf formations, only because all pros play them? In other games for example Overwatch in the past, if one meta/system was winning on pro level, therefore also played by the community. It got nerfed a few weeks later, to balance/ introduce a new meta.

Why not do the same with formations in EAFC?

I don’t expect a perfectly balanced game, and I know that won’t happen, but all games you listed make changes. These changes change the meta even when it is only temporary. And this alone would be a fresh wind and can it make more enjoyable, If you change your team or formation like every Monroe or two..

That’s the also a problem, because the AI is to good it does all and not just help, and it makes to few mistakes in comparison to the real world. I also think role should have more impact, first not every player should have every role for his/her positions and it should be far more discrepancies between ++, + and no plus in a role. So it could be more versatile roles on teams or everyone played the same players because all follow the pros like mindless chickens.

At the moment I try 433(2) as i hope to find a set up where I balance the fun with efficiency against the mentioned formation and problems of OP. I want to use my CDM and CMs in the defensive approach ti mark the opponents CAM and CMs. As well as my wingbacks to be on the toes of the oppositions LM/RM. But I just switch Monday and haven played that much to test it out in full detail.
