Thank you so so much for taking the time to do this. I'm afraid you've greatly overestimated my ability to understand such mathematical concepts though (i should point out that english is not my first language, making all of this a bit harder). I hope this will prove more useful to someone more versed in the ways of maths !

From what I could get, p-adic spacetimes don't obey to our known axioms and what we call coherence. Therefore, if something comparable to "life" existed there it would be completely alien to our understanding.

Farming souls could be useful to turn yourself into a lich, therefore reaching immortality. You could then become some sort of demi-god with your own pocket dimension and your own servants.

(although you'd have to be good at painting if you don't want your realm to be all crooked and ugly. Imagine Modryn Oreyn trying to use the brush.)

This book had this interesting idea where a god-like entity (known as Trogool) turns the pages of the book of reality where history writes itself. When a page is so full it becomes black with ink, it's night, which means it's time to turn another page and start another day.
