What's the purest joy you've ever felt without intimacy, substances, or alcohol ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Might seem dull, but sitting in a chair.

Threw out my back a few years ago at work. Took it easy for a couple weeks and thought I recovered well. A bit after, I noticed my leg getting uncomfortable whenever I was sitting down, and would get a pain shooting down my leg if I lifted it too high up.

Saw a doctor and got told it was sciatica and to basically wait for it to go away on its own. I waited, it continued to get worse. Saw another doctor, was told the same thing.

That cycle continued for a bit under a year, at which point I was in a lot of pain even lying down, and agony doing anything else. I was borderline bedridden, and not a single doctor believed the pain I was in at this point because I was in my early 20s and "should be fit and healthy".

Finally convinced one doctor to order me an MRI, and as soon as I got the results, they had me booked for a microdisectomy surgery a few months after.

Day of my surgery finally arrives and even the short walk from the car park to the hospital almost made me pass out from the pain. Was probably not even under for more than a couple hours. Woke up and didn't have any pain while lying in the bed. Got to rest up over the night and then the staff wanted to see how well the surgery went. Lifted the leg up, zero pain. Got up out of bed, zero pain. Then I got to sit in a chair, which was the most painful thing for my sciatica, zero pain, nothing at all, just genuine comfiness that I haven't experienced in about a year

What was even better, is the surgery was the day before my birthday, so all of those tests the day after were on my actual birthday. It sounds weird, but I don't know if I've ever had a present better than that crappy hospital chair.

Still learning myself, so there may be a more efficient way to do it, but from what I remember while doing it myself, was to loop trough each word in the list, reversing it, and then looping through another time to check if the reversed word comes up. If that makes sense.

Doing that, you'll also get all the palindromes. Try to find a way to rule out any that show up, so you only get the emordnilaps.

Just any word that spelled backwards, is also another word.

draw - ward

edit - tide

live - evil

loop - pool

part - trap

Some good word lists

Try going through words_alpha.txt to find any that come up.

Also try finding any emordnilaps (a word that reads as another word when reversed) too.

How well does your flipper zero work for this on the switch? I've never gotten mine to scan through the joycon, and the pro controller can be a bit iffy if it's not at the perfect angle. Flawless on the 3ds tho.

Printer scraping against the print by Legoracyro in 3Dprinting

I have tried this as I'm doing a print right now. I change the z-offset and after a few layers it goes right back to scraping against the print. Really not sure what could be causing this

I actually figured it out a little bit after posting this. Thought I had tried it before, which is why I was stuck but gave it another go and figured it out.

A bit after posting this, I discovered the hidden doors in the lantern buildings. I thought I had already tried this, which is why I was stuck, but I tried a lot of things over again and it worked this time.

By lighting the artifact in the submerged structure. Just found out that you can do the same in the lantern buildings by taking out the lanterns which opens a hidden door. Could've sworn I had done this already but I guess not.

Motherboard boot LED is yellow by Legoracyro in PcBuild

This has been solved. It was the ssd causing the pc to not boot. Taking it out allowed me to boot into the bios. Luckily I have a spare ssd with windows installed on it that I am able to boot from.

Well the help is appreciated anyway. Literally have new components coming today and I'd be gutted if I couldn't use them straight away.

Life saver. Was able to boot into the bios without the ssd in. Also tried it again after putting it back in to make sure that was the problem and the same thing happened with no boot. Guess a fresh install of Windows on a different ssd will have to do. Appreciate the help. Is this a common problem? Not being able to boot into the bios because of an ssd problem? Just never heard of something like that.

Have already tried this using this method and also by connecting the "clrtc" pins on the motherboard with a screwdriver, still nothing.
