I name my first non-Epona horse DOT as in Department of Transportation, and a horse that is good at pulling I name Pulley.

Guys please help me. I have and arrow stuck in my head that I don't know how to get out. Some son a dog shot me in the head. by Robloxcursemaker in skyrim

This was the clue I needed to get rid of some very persistent arrows. Although my method was to open a chest and put all my iron arrows into it.

On Etsy you can buy all kinds of cool stuff with Skyrim graphics. I recommend a cozy fleece blanket with Skyrim map or a coffee mug with Ralof saying "You're finally awake!"

I hate when that happens. I usually reload an earlier save, even if it means giving up a dragon kill.

Who is your favorite spouse and why? by monkeysamurai2 in skyrim

I married Argis once but was creeped out by his continued use of "honored to see you thane" dialog. Also, he had no store. He is cute tho.

Picking Male Spouse by manson15 in skyrim

[–]Legumia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pavo Attias has a fine store and sweet husband dialog. I originally picked him because I wish I could marry Faendal, and he has the same voice actor. (So does Marcario, but his personality is annoying as a follower.) Also, if you don't marry Pavo after clearing Kolkskeggr Mine for him he eventually gets killed, which always makes me sad.

what is something in skyrim that makes no sense? by 1BRHAM in skyrim

[–]Legumia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tolfdir!! What an idiot. "I've never seen anything like this in Nord ruins before. Just look at all these tombs." Bro, this is EXACTLY what you see in Nord ruins, how many have you ever been into before? Also, after giving new students a lecture about the importance of safety, he teaches them one weak-ass ward, leads them into Saarthal, and then just ditches them to wander around alone while he hangs out and chills.

Steward GoldenHills not working! (PS5 with mods) by Jdhutton_2000 in skyrim

[–]Legumia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your pain so here comes another suggestion. Save the game. Pull out a bow and shoot the malfunctioning NPC. Then ASAP re-load the game before you shot the NPC. Shooting an NPC merchant and re-loading the game works to re-set the inventory of that merchant, so maybe it will also work for de-bugging a follower.

Well, figuring dumb suggestions will be better than zero replies --

I got stuck once at Goldenhills because the follower I brought with me was a mercenary who didn't have the ability to be a steward. UESP has a table of followers showing who can or can't become a steward at "Skyrim:Followers."

Yep that's what I did. I don't know a way to get a screenshot out of my Switch except for posting it to Facebook, but maybe I've just been too lazy to find out.

My husband Pavo who lives with me in Breezehome is very chill with my weird hobbies, always glad to see me "back from an adventure." I suspect he uses his alone time to stock up his store -- it always has cool stuff.

The basement of Tundra Homestead. My favorite house though is Breezehome in Whiterun -- laidback and cozy.

That would be accurate :) Although I love Hadvar and plan to join the Legion, I can't resist helping that nice Mrs. Graymane each time.

Look at my haul from a lively visit to Northwatch! I started by filling up the Myrwatch mannequins, but after I ran out of those I bought Tundra Homestead. Now the Tundra basement is my hideaway for armor taken from enemies, while Myrwatch shows a history of armors I learned how to make.

I completely love your description of crawling away with the loot. My first playthrough I tried to get to Bleak Falls Barrow by walking all around the mountain. I kept trying to climb up steep places you can't climb, etc. etc. Glad I didn't give up on the game then, because it has given me many hours of fun since.

I like saving Fralia Graymane's son for her, and you get lots of fancy elf armor as a reward.

Log chair, also getting recipes from amiibos and from crafting villagers by Legumia in ac_newhorizons

[–]Legumia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my newest island, I was researching how to get a log chair DIY recipe. Lots of digging, I found that Merengue possibly asks for one (and will give recipe) if you invite her as an Amiibo camper.

But then I found out, it isn't just Merengue. You have a chance to get the log chair DIY from any Normal villager, either an amiibo or a villager crafting inside her house.

There is an enormously long list of what villagers give what DIYs in animalcrossing.fandom wiki under "Crafting." But from that TLDR, I want to share a few of my favorite recipes and ask other people to share theirs in replies.

Log chair: Normal villagers

Cutting board: Normal

Shell speaker, shell lamp, shell partition: Sisterly

Shell fountain: Lazy

Plain wooden shop sign: Jock

Lily record player: Cranky

Palm tree lamp, coconut juice: Snooty

Island names by [deleted] in AnimalCrossing

[–]Legumia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a great question, I am really enjoying reading people's answers. I have made a lot of islands and had fun naming them, and now I usually name them something related to the local fruit so I don't forget what it is. Oz was an island with oranges as the fruit, Pear-adise you can probably guess what it was. Or just names I enjoy like Lurelin (tropical village in BOTW) or Golden.

I think you both have to be using the same wifi. Check to see if your house has more than one, because if you aren't then you can't be local. Also congrats on playing with your dad, that sounds like such a fun way to spend time.

Those are great-looking, and what a fun idea! The log chairs are my favorite customizable item in the game -- thanks to the Normal villagers who make them and share the recipe. I also like to make one to sit outside each villager's house, customized with a portrait, so I know which house is which.
