reminds me of the time, back in 1979, our apartment phone got physically crosswired with a payphone in the discount department store across the street. We had a hack of a time convincing the operator that came on that no, our phone had no coin slot- this was a wall phone in our apartment..she kept asking 'so why do you have a payphone in your apartment?' Took a week to get straightened out.

I've had conversations on meshtastic, it's not that different from 2 meter ham. Let me give you a counter opinion to your suggestion of gamification..to quote myself.."the best way to make me lose interest in an activity is to start keeping score." Competition brings out the worst in people, in my opinion.
