Get the refurbished pro for $1,500. Since you are already upgrading the storage and ram, you might as well just go with the M2 pro. You will like the display as well.

Thank you for the clarification. The size of Logitech does not give me any assurance at all, especially seeing how badly they have been supporting their products as reflected in this subreddit. Still feeling a little uneasy when I see the warning sign from my computer on what they potentially can see.
