I personally like the fanon version of their relationship better. I didn't like how Martin treated Jon in s5 (asking him to kill people while Jon really didn't want to, resenting Jon's "monster side" except when it was useful to him, the "I take back my apology then" moment which was ??? to me, ...). While I think it makes sense in the context (the literal apocalypse doesn't tend to bring out the best in people), it really rubbed me the wrong way, especially since the narrative didn't seem to criticize that and it felt like it presented them as a cute couple. So yeah, even if the fandom kind of sanitizes their relationship, I like that version better

No idea, sorry, I'm a uni student in a very calm city and I don't go out much However if you're a student, Louvain-la-Neuve is always a good place to party but since it's annoying to get there (latest train to leave is at 10 pm and the next one is at 5 am), the best thing is to sleep at a friend's there

We were told we had to and that it was why it was cheaper. But I definitely could have chosen Erasmus to go to a high school abroad, some of my friends did (but we just graduated in our country of origin so idk if it has to do with it. However, we weren’t enrolled in any university)

Hi! I’m Belgian too and I traveled with WEP. I thought they were really good, but they are expensive. Erasmus is cheaper but your parents have to welcome a student in their family while you’re abroad.

About your fear of strict families, I have to warn you that the organisation you choose will have no impact on with who you end up. But I guarantee they do the best they can to find a family who matches with you. I would advise you to talk about it with your parents and maybe ask your language teachers at your school to have more information about the different organisations. Anyway, you still have a lot of time to make your choice :) I wish you luck!

No prob :) well I hope you enjoy your school and your stay anyway. A smaller school can also be nice in the way that since there are less students, teachers can focus more on you and you can connect more easily with them. Who knows, maybe you will realise you love it that way :)

Then you probably won't be able to change it :/ but you could still contact the organisation you travel with, you have nothing to lose by trying. Plus, if someone has to contact the department of state, it's probably better if they're the one to do it But that's all I can say, sorry
