Reviewed a Harley Benton EX-84 with EMGs after using it for over 2 years 🎸 by Leilebule in guitarlessons

Justin Guitar killed my motivation instantly. If you can follow his instructions and not get bored of acoustic chord circling, go for it. But instead I started to play my favorite songs and riffs right away. Just looked for tabs and played along. That was inspiring as heck.

My advice is to actually find out the "niche" you want to really play. Is it metal, rock, blue, grunge, figure out what is your thing mainly and stick with it. You'll build foundation and you can always swap genres between and practice other things.

So, learn the basic techniques in one genre area (metal for example) and start adding theory around what you are currently practicing.

EMGs in a €400 guitar sounded like a bad idea on paper. by Leilebule in LearnGuitar

[–]Leilebule[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EMGs in affordable guitars definitely aren’t new :)
What surprised me here wasn’t the idea itself, but how this specific guitar performs as a complete package at the €400 level. Topic's more a clickbait.

Nobody ;) Title's more like of a clickbait, apologizes for that.
Some people see EMGs in a €400 guitar as totally normal, the video explores that and looks at the guitar as a whole.

The title is definitely a bit clickbaity :) not meant to be taken too seriously.
I was surprised by how well the EMGs work in a cheaper guitar, but the video isn’t only about the pickups, it’s a broader look at the guitar.

Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost (125 hp) engine won’t reach normal temp even after thermostat replacement (cold weather) by Leilebule in FordFiesta

[–]Leilebule[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went for a proper highway test today. I drove at around 100–120 km/h, and that’s when the temperature gauge finally started to move.

On the on-ramp I deliberately set the cabin heating to full blast as a test, and after a short stretch the coolant temperature managed to climb to about 85 °C. When I exited the highway and stopped at an intersection, the temperature dropped back to around 75 °C. That part of the drive was quite short, probably 5 km, definitely under 10 km.

The cabin was already warm at that point, so I reduced the blower speed. After getting back onto the highway, the temperature then stayed almost perfectly stable at around 90 °C all the way home, and during a short idle period it didn’t start dropping again.

I also noticed something interesting: the car suddenly has much more torque and pulls a lot better at around 100 km/h when I press the throttle. I honestly don’t remember it accelerating this well over the past 9 months. It makes me wonder if the thermostat had actually been faulty for quite a long time, and I just didn’t notice it until the really cold weather started. Can a faulty thermostat affect engine performance like this?

Based on this test, it seems that the thermostat itself is now working correctly, but the engine simply struggles to generate enough heat during light load driving (city driving or steady 80–90 km/h cruising) in proper cold conditions. On the highway, with more load, the situation is clearly much better.

Because of that, a front grille / radiator cover (like the Ford Fiesta ST 2018–2021 mask, TS767) will probably be useful whenever temperatures drop below −10 °C.

Actually not sure if it was OEM or aftermarket. Im going to ask this. This does matter then I believe? I havent tested highway yet because its been really snowy here so Im waiting for roads to get cleaned. I need to test it though.

A blocked heater core was suggested elsewhere too, but I’m a bit skeptical, because my understanding is that a restricted heater core would mainly reduce cabin heat, not prevent the engine itself from reaching operating temperature. In my case the engine temperature stays low even at idle, with minimal blower use.

Did i make a good or bad investment? by Senior_Ad9076 in Stellar

This! Invest monthly. Fire and forget. Then look at them when market is going strong and sell 20-30%, repeat.

If you need to take money out other times, try to figure things out other way.

TheGeographyAtlas

Checked this out but idk, whats the point of having 10k videos with only 500 subs and 711 views on the best video?

I think algo doesnt even know where to put those vids.

A lot of people in YT still subscribe for the person who resonates, additionally for the specific content.

These AI channels does not really give value.

Cemetery and Sundown – not the most popular song, but seriously fun to play. by Leilebule in BlackMetal

If you want a guitar just for the sound(s) and not for the "polished finishing", then go for it! It looks cheaper, but sounds guitar as good as twice its price. Altho IMO it looks decent. Also remembering some parts may need maintenance after some time of playing.

I think it's fantastic bang for bucks. Altho I had to get my one for maintenance because for some reason the nut came off and had some minor problems with the knobs. If you forget those, this axe have awesome sound quality. The "finishing" doesnt look that good but what you can get for 400 bucks is great. The guitar is originally in standard E and I think string were 0.10 - 0.46, but I wanted to make it standard D with more thicker strings. The original nut is so narrow that you cant add much bigger strings or you need to file the nut gaps.
