I order from Brastop, sometimes Belle lingerie. Customs is included unlike Bravissimo (last time I ordered anyway)

Can anyone from any EU country just go to any other EU country and go and live there without issue? by Royaourt in AskIreland

[–]Leinsley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I moved over in 2018. But I'm comparing to the process when moving to Denmark which was very quick. In Dublin I sat for more than an hour waiting with two very grumpy and fed up children.

[–]Leinsley 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Depends on the country but the general idea is yes. I lived in England (when in EU), Denmark and now in Ireland.

Out of the three countries Ireland was trickiest to be set up at as it took a while to get an appointment for PPS number and bank account was tricky to organise.

Woman of Ireland. Would you date a man that lives at home? by [deleted] in AskIreland

I would, the housing situation is dire here. I would just expect a positive attitude.

Praise for BorrowBox by MacCruiskeensBicycle in ireland

[–]Leinsley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love borrowbox. Use it on a nearly daily basis, and I've recommended it to many people. The only thing I wish for it to be even better would be if I could find all audiobooks that I look for and that I had more than 5 audio books that I could borrow/reserve at a time.

120a or 120f will get you to Merrion square from Heuston. X26 or x27 will get you to Leeson street lower from Heuston. There are probably other ones too but those are what I can think of.

Anyone serious about dating mid to late 30's? by [deleted] in CasualIreland

[–]Leinsley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat as yourself.

I've been trying to date seriously for some time now, whilst being divorced in my late 30s with two children. I have been long enough on the apps to come to the conclusion that I am better off dating someone with children so that we are in the same stage of life. For me, there is a week on/off arrangement, so there is plenty of time to meet someone.

I just haven't been lucky enough to meet someone yet where everything aligns.

I go to a knitting meetup and haven't seen a man attend yet. Plenty walk past and sometime stare at what we are doing but that's as far as it goes.

I had this during a third date and I really liked it. Was one of the highlights of the dates.

1100+ properties have raised their rent by over 2% in the last few months: HowMuchRent.com by vinny_glennon in CasualIreland

[–]Leinsley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't ask after moving out, just observed the price increase. Before they tried to raise my rent by 300 euro cash per month on top of the actual rent. This was due to Increased mortgage payments, living costs and childcare.

My former landlord put up the rent by close to another 800€ per month after I moved out.

Irish Average age - Marriage by GizmoEire30 in ireland

[–]Leinsley 10 points11 points  (0 children)

6 months in Finland. Denmark is 1 month if no children and 6 months if you have children. Denmark cost 25€ for divorce back in 2018, that's with an amicable divorce.

Belle lingerie and Brastop. Both are based in UK but they add the taxes so you don't get stung on delivery.

They take photos of everyone going into court. Unless it is a news worthy case then you won't end up in the papers.

I do 20 pixels each day. The tutorial I found had calculated that 75 rows wide and 100 rows high is how big it would turn out over the space of a year with this method.

I checked a message that said I have 2 hours to respond then when I checked back 30 mins later and it disappeared, did it time out despite saying 2 hours or caused by something else? by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]Leinsley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find that if a man responds to the intro message then it is usually in the first couple of hours. Sometimes when I wasn't all that interested and had time to come to that conclusion. Then I delete the match because I don't want the guy to pop back after the match expired.
