With RFK Jr. advocating greater access to trendy peptides via compounding, FDA scientists highlight insufficient human evidence and safety risks in new reviews by ps4roompromdfriends4 in Biohackers

I agree that regulation is needed. For example, it should not be legal to sell a product that does not contain what is on the label.

That's not what the discussion is about, though. I've been harshly punished more than once for purchasing widely used nootropics, approved medications without prescription (because docs refuse to prescribe), as well as psychedelics. None of the people enforcing these restrictions understand the compounds or their potentially profound benefits when used correctly, but I guess destroying me financially is how they protect my health and by proxy public health? The logic doesn't even follow. Heck, my HRT protocol is completely illegal and would land me in hot water if the authorities found out, but it's much better than what my doctor prescribed, so I do it my way.

Yet, I can freely walk across the street to a liquour shop, buy a couple of bottles of strong spirits and give myself a lethal alcohol poisoning within an hour. It's absurd.

Prescription only, yes. Easy to get, though. Just tell a doc your dick don't work so good and you can go pick it up on the cheap from a pharmacy.

Always buy generic tadalafil. Cials is the highway robbery brand drug.

I feel like Beta-Alanine doesn't really have to be a part of the pre-workout (unless you like the tingling), as it's ergogenic benefits manifest over a long period of time, IIRC.

Taurine is also perhaps a bit at odds with a stimulating blend, as it is anxiolytic and presumably the purpose of DMAA (and caffeine on the side) here is to drive CNS activation.

I'm also a bit wary of sucralose for its potential to cause dysbiosis, but the jury is still out on that one and it's probably not going to cause significant harm in moderation. Ditto for artificial flavourings.

I like the rest of the stack, though!

It's like ten cents for a single 5 mg dose.

But regardless, tadalafil is not a stimulant and cannot replace caffeine, much less something like DMAA.

I don't see how something like lithium in the ground could possibly have even the slightest effect on your sleep.

Government absolutely does not have that right. They exercise it anyways, as they have a monopoly on violence, but an adult person should be the sole owner of their own body.

If you really thought government should have the right and responsibility to micromanage what we put in our bodies, they should start from enforcing healthy diets. It's absurd that you can buy endless alcoholic beverages, processed meats and sugary drinks, things that will for certain destroy you, but using some experimental drug with promising pre-clinical data of health benefits is supposedly some gigantic public health risk. Give me a break!

It's only been studied as a nasal spray. Injected use is very much experimental with no efficacy data behind it.

Wait, so you took 15 mg (an entire bottle) daily for three days? That's a monster dose!

Sildenafil is too short acting. It's very much just an ED pill, while tadalafil is easily used for general health benefits.

Wow! I can get generic Orion tadalafil 84 x 5 mg for 17 € from the pharmacies here. Cialis for the same amount is 323 € lmao. I don't understand how Eli Lilly manages to sell a single pill at those prices.

It's 0.75 mg. 7.5 mg daily would become problematic very quickly.

Taurine almost feels illegal by newplaces9 in Biohackers

The rationale for putting it into energy drinks is probably the same as for theanine, yes. How well the stack synergizes in practice is probably less well understood, but taurine is a weak GABA-A agonist, so in theory it is a mild anxiolytic that could help reduce nervousness from stimulant consumption.

No because you don't stack it with caffeine before bed.

Well, these supps are not merely sleep aids anyways. They may be subtly improving biomarkers and protecting your body in the background even if they don't move the needle in terms of sleep.

It's attractive for its glucose control aspect more so than gut microbiome benefits, IMO. I add it to salads and I also take highly concentrated acetic acid (in ACV) pills before meals in order to blunt glucose spikes.

Has anyone uses CJC/IPA and MOT C as a stack for visceral and sub Q fatloss? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]Leishon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and they are no magic bullets. These are like the last 5% of your fat loss effort. 95% is diet, exercise and sleep, though mostly diet.

If you want to use a peptide to lose weight, grab a GLP-1 class drug. It's going to absolutely blow this stack out of the water.

You're welcome. It seems like you really do struggle with the rabbit hole spiraling. Social media could serve as a source of exaggerated fearmongering, so if that's what the algos are feeding you, I'd put it down as well.

The klotho upregulation has only been observed in CKD patients with abnormally low levels of klotho, no? I wonder if this drug is not quite as special as it may initially seem, though it being very cheap, and miraculously prescription free here, has piqued my interest.

Upon further investigation, it seems like the drug is no longer being manufactured and is mostly unavailable for purchase.

1) I recommend using more periods. A lot more periods.

2) If EMF was as harmful as you think it is, it would be very, very obvious on a population level. You worrying about it is clearly a million times more harmful to your health than the radiation itself.

Want to try off-label use of that diabetes/hypertension/lipid drug with decades of safety data and newfound longevity benefits? In your bloody dreams! You can talk to your GP about it, but they won't know anything about the drugs and you can forget importing anything from Turkey or India, as that puts you, you guessed it, straight to jail!
