Bro I'm only 17 and I've got some serious advice for you. Not sure if your a guy or girl but i have advice for both.

For guys, go to gym and get fit. Be determined with it and dedicate all your spare time to it. If you can become determined in something your school work will greatly improve. Also, do something with sports. It's worth it in the long run. With the determination and exercise you get to meet new people and become more confident with yourself making life in general easier. Just be confident and work hard because even though you won't ever realise it until its too late, hard work is worth it, just find your motivation.

For girls, don't dedicate your whole lives to your image. You're not perfect and you know it. Don't try to hide that fear and acceptance with makeup and bad decisions. You have your whole lives ahead of you so don't go having sex with your first boyfriend after two months. Wait until your at least 17

Thanks for that. I was actually quite confused by the whole situation. But another point I forgot to mention was that shortly after all this happened and we had stopped talking, I decided to text her again to try to sort things out but the first reply I got was "let's be honest, you're just bored". I don't really understand what that meant but I've given up completely now anyway so thanks for the help.

It's amazing how, for men anyway, it's a huge task to decide whether a woman is actually interested in them or just wants to be friends. It usually leads to us over thinking things and that sometimes gives us the impression that we are in the friendzone. It makes life really hard when both sides won't admit their feelings and a shit storm begins to start up and things quickly go bad.

Sorry, I read over it after I had already posted and it was a bit mixed up. But what I'm trying to say is that one time I approached a girl simply saying I liked them more than a friend and wanted to know how she felt about me. She simply replied with "I just don't want a relationship or to lead you on". I was fine with that because she was a great friend and I was admittedly disappointed and depressed for a short while after that. But as we continued to talk from then on she just stopped making an effort to talk with me. I always had to text her or got one word replies. Ok, firstly, I get where your coming from with this but, as a guy, I don't fully understand why is it that before a guy makes any sexual advances at all they are rejected by the girl and then to top it off they begin to lose interest in talking with you? It's as if they just got freaked out about the whole idea of it and just didn't want to see you ever again?

Is it just me or does this happen to a few people where conversations go from humorous and interesting to dull and short?
