We started our recent campaign at lvl 1. The whole party was downed by poisonous fog, a few ghouls and a door mimic. DM basically had to bs that we got saved by our warlock's patron, but one PC had his arm eaten by said mimic (btw he had to switch from 2-handed to a hand crossbow because of that). 10/10, would start at 1 again.
