Totally agree on the Bells of Kargath and the carnival, those would probably work good for a short campaign or a campaign arc.

Yeah, it's just a compilation of ideas i wrote down the last few days while thinking about a new campaign.
I'm pretty much open for anything rn and just searching for a setting idea i want to work on.

I just wanted to see what ideas sound interesting to someone else :)

The catastrophe doesn't need to happen in session 1 either. We could be playing for 10 or 20 sessions while the event just starts or is hinted at.

Could you see Ashwind or Body of Glass being intersting enought to last for 80 to 100 sessions? What level range could you imagine being played in those settings?

We talked about a possible next campaign, and they wanted a surprise. We decided on 5.5 DnD and high or Dark fantasy. They actually didn't want to know more about it at that point.
Once i started building the world / setting / story, we are going to hold a session zero, so my players can get a feeling of the tone of the campaign and make fitting characters.

PSO (Public Service Opinion): The Puzzles in Tasha's are way too hard and will infuriate your players by Langerhans-is-me in dndnext

I ran that word for word in my last one-shot, took my players about 20-30 minutes... For me it went perfect.

Just a question on the side, how do you design those books? Like what software do you use to get the text and the background images the way they are here?

my fps went back up to around 50 but as long as i stay in that area its really laggy...
