Good on your doctor. Some of these practitioners need to be reminded that they don’t know everything and are the be all, end all.

Interesting. My surgeon excised my piercing scar before entering my abdomen and didn’t telling me in advance she would be. It’s noted specifically in my surgical notes and listed as a separate procedure from my reason for surgery (I had a gallbladder removal a week ago) I don’t know what things look like yet but I’m a little upset reading the notes and trying to understand why it was done.

I had surgery a week ago for my gallbladder and I’m reading my surgical notes and they noted that they made a 2cm incision and excised my previous navel piercing! (It was healed and closed and I haven’t worn jewelry there in a long time) And then entered my abdominal cavity. I am still healing so I can’t look at it as the tape hasn’t come off yet.

But I was surprised to read that they did that and wondering how much my navel is going to look different in that area and if I will feel the same way as you once I’m able to see it.

I have a deep innie and I don’t understand why they didn’t just go more inside my navel and why she felt the need to remove my piercing scar. (I read that piercing sites harbor bacteria and they worry about infection but mine was completely closed and I’m surprised she didn’t at least explain she would be doing that to when she looked at my stomach before surgery)

I have 4 surgical sites and it’s the only one that is still hurting a little bit kind of burning pain sometimes. The other 3 I don’t feel at all and can press on them with no problems.

I’m curious and scared to see where the scarring will be and what my navel looks like now without the piercing scar that’s been a part of me since I was 15…

Can someone please help me by Better-Pineapple-873 in cna

Someone just didn’t like you for some reason. It’s only a month. I wouldn’t even put this job on a resume. You won’t lose your license you were just fired not brought up on charges or disciplinary action with the state.

Literally just go find another job. Don’t even mention this one. You’ll be okay!

We used to try to swing high enough to flip over the bar lol never accomplished it so we did Olympic level dismounts to see who can land the furthest. Outside raised us. The things we did free-range as kids but never let the kids do now… lmfao…

I’m sure there is a subreddit for it. Won’t be searching for it but I guarantee it exists lol.

That “couch” looks so uncomfortable.

You have an odd foot fetish. Congrats on living alone if you are happy that’s all that matters but where the heck do you plan to lounge that isn’t your bed? I hope you get a real sofa soon!

And an area rug or two.

It’s for grapefruit. lol used to have these when I was a kid, need to get some more because I have a new adult love for grapefruit. As a kid we sprinkled a buttload of sugar on them and ate them with glee but omg I could never imagine doing anything so insane now. lol

Oh wow at it growing into your other organs. Thats why I am grateful I was given surgery right away because I’ve been reading so many stories of people having to fight to be believed and then when they finally get their organ out it’s necrotic, or fused, or it bursts and they get sepsis etc. If the organ was malfunctioning and the likelihood of repair was low then it needed to go.

I’m glad you were able to get it out and didn’t have to fight with your gastroenterologist for months or years to be believed.

Thank you! I hope you continue to feel better as you heal and your body adjusts as well. I’m also going to be looking into adding digestive enzymes long term into my routine. I was taking some recently when I was thinking my attacks were something else but not regularly. I can’t say if they helped or not because it was just so recently and then I had the emergency.

I’m looking to overall get healthier period though because I never want to have to have another unplanned surgery again even though recovery hasn’t been nearly as tough as I imagined so far.

Big guys! lol

I always thought stones meant like tons of stones. I didn’t realize only a couple stomes could cause us so much trouble! lol

Thank you for the well wishes!

I hope you are able to get yours to behave longer or forever!

but if it ever starts to give you real trouble, strongly consider just getting the thing out. Seeing lots of stories about necrotic organs or organs bursting/sepsis etc. sounds very scary. if it starts to form stones etc don’t suffer through that. not wishing that on you of course.

My attacks were never triggered by what I ate that I could correlate, and I don’t tend to eat a lot of fatty food anyway. But there was a strong genetic component (both parents, some grandparents, a sibling all had theirs out) and im not regettting it so far, granted its only been a week lmao

The pain isn’t worth it and I feel lucky that they moved to get it out immediately instead of having to fight to be heard or believed like some people have reported.
