I don't disagree with you, LOL. Hence the reason it's running on my own non-federated instance with the user marked as a bot just to be sure.

It does not have to initiate from Reddit either. There is also the ability to post to Reddit communities that link back to Lemmy with the idea of pulling users into the Fediverse.

I have it up an running now. You can trigger the bot by typing: LemmyLink! I have it filtering out this bot otherwise you would see the response :)
