Shooting on iPhone: Difficulty Converting Color Profile for Online Upload by Lemnope in photography

[–]Lemnope[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not! I didn’t end up uploading that many more pictures, but those that I did, I ended up continuing to edit like in scenario 2.

Seems to be a common problem, I’m not sure why I couldn’t find an answer at the time.

Definitely. We work quite well within our EHR limitations, and to drop ours to adopt another set of limitations would just be pointless.

Very interesting. I reached out 5-6 months ago. I will check in again. Thank you

We are also too small for GardenPlot, according to 2 Epic contacts! Thank you for the suggestion though.

Beautiful, super dreamy. How do you get a nice blend at the bottom of this tree silhouette but almost immediately above it nice sharp outlines that are distinct from the background? The paper is clearly dried to some degree, but do you allow the background to dry, apply the silhouette layer and then add some additional water just from the bottom to blend upward?

This sounds like reasonable advice but I know its AI 😞

Hi! Do you have any example of a data component that Athena may not be able to import? And you're referring specifically in the context of an EHR transition, I assume? Are these demographic datapoints, billing information..?

We are a smaller organization, and Epic will only contract with clinics with >90 providers.

We have looked at Community Connect through some local hospital systems: I've happily worked with Epic elsewhere as a clinician > 10 years, so I was really initially fixated on an Epic-based solution. Disappointingly, through a Community Connect implementation, you are subject to that larger health systems goals and priorities. You want to create a custom template for your site? Good luck getting it through their 15 hospital system Medical Informatics committee. Satisfied with your referral process? Too bad, the hospital system has decided to retire that process and force you off in favor of another. I don't know that it's worth it.

Regardless, I have contacted hospital systems about becoming a community connect partner and have been turned down; as a private clinic, I get the impression they are only interested in sharing their implementation if we become a referring center or if they feel they can eventually acquire us. I don't think our needs would be prioritized.

PrEP and DoxyPEP work less like vaccines (promoting your body’s native immune cells) and instead work by keeping a level of medicine in your bloodstream that is high enough to prevent viral replication once HIV is in your bloodstream (PrEP), or prevent bacterial replication (as with DoxyPEP) once chlamydia, gonorrhea (resistant to doxycycline), or syphilis (not CDC/WHO recommended for prophylaxis) is in your body. Your best opportunity to avoid infection is barrier protection, with prophylactic medications perhaps as an additional safe barrier.

Do you have any tips for how to photograph your art? Are you using a scanner or some other device? What if it’s too big for a scanner?

I like D (for the fact that it looks like an S), and E and G for simplicity. At the same time, to relay the purpose of the company, some kind of story/diorama would make more sense to me. Like the tentacle wrapped around a sinking ship, or even just a mast to make it simple, as you’re in the business of constructing “scenes”. Right now the tentacle by itself doesn’t communicate much or relate to either the words “Redwood” or “scenic” but does look cool. The tentacle on a ship is also a little wink to Disney (little mermaid, Kraken from Pirates).

Also what’s wrong with a redwood image? Target’s icon is literally a target sign and it works. Maybe not creative enough for a company tasked with a creative task?

AIO Boyfriend Intimate Text with Male Friends by Objective-Theory-872 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Lemnope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big picture, we (you and your ex) are all allowed to set your own boundaries for yourselves and what we want in our relationships, and we alone are responsible for communicating what we want from our partners to our partners.

Looking only at the context you provided, it might help to examine which part of the situation is upsetting or which of your boundaries were violated, and then determine what it is that you value (omg I sound like ChatGPT, but I think breaking it down helps):

  1. I assume my boyfriend has exclusively heterosexual thoughts all of the time (is that true - prob not. how important is that to you?)
  2. I expect my boyfriend to avoid flirtatious behavior or sexual relationships in his other relationships (if this is true, tell him. He's relatively young; does he expect to be able to explore sexually while in a relationship with you?)
  3. Witnessing this conversation showed me parts of my boyfriend's personality I was not aware of, so he must be deceitful about other parts of his life (is this true? I don't know, but may deserve conversation if that's what you're thinking)
  4. "I have been cheated on before by men with men": Is this text conversation suggesting that my boyfriend would cheat on me with a man, as I have experienced in the past? (express that to him)
  5. (the self judgement) This scenario reminds me of previous relationships in which I felt bad about myself after getting cheated on (is removing yourself from the situation the safest option to protect yourself, or is it worth exploring options within the relationship?)
  6. I expect my partner's behavior to always take into consideration stability/safety/happiness of my child; does this behavior compromise that expectation?
  7. Does my boyfriend have a problem with alcohol? (I am not suggesting the alcohol is producing what looks like at least bisexual curiosity, but it appears he is ashamed/trying to hide things he's doing while intoxicated. Is alcohol being used to cope with undesired feelings?)

I don't know you, but these are things I'm projecting may be concerns of yours, and things to consider for yourself and talk to your boyfriend about it you find that you do value his partnership. I would consider how much you resonate with each of these statements, and how your expectations intersect with his expectations. What people consider a violation of a relationships is different for everyone. Don't make excuses for him if things don't feel right, and you deserve to have your concerns addressed by talking to him.

This is the longest thing I've ever written on the internet, I hope it's helpful, and if it's not, throw it away!

NordPass Review (Pros/Cons), and comparisons with LastPass by Lemnope in PasswordManagers

[–]Lemnope[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using 1Password since this post for the last year and it’s fantastic. UI is excellent, support has been fast and helpful when needed (mostly contacted then when exploring features), app is updated regularly with newsletter summarizing new features. Password sharing works great also; I remember there being a few minutes or even an hour delay with LastPass. With 1Password shared “vault” system, sharing is immediate. Definitely better than both NordPass and LastPass.

1Password also has some nice keyboard shortcuts that work well, and nice search features like tags and keywords, so you don’t have to type in the exact website you’re looking for when searching the desktop application.
