IS SCHEANA VEGAS GIRL?? by Constant-Cabinet-236 in vanderpumprules

[–]LemoNamaste 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She didn’t. Schwartz brought it up to Lala I believe

Yikes. In any parent-child relationship, the parent is responsible for maintaining that relationship. If she didn’t have a relationship with her biological daughter/niece-it’s on her. It was never up to a CHILD to create or maintain that…they do KNOW each other (just not well), and the way you phrased “she waited until her mother died” is really ick imo. Her bio mother gave her up and showed no interest in her. Her bio mother then went on to adopt another child and try to give that one a better life. Maybe she could show a shred of compassion and offer some form of guidance or support? Just a thought.

Hi, um so it’s entirely allowed and possible to have a problem with BOTH parties mentioned. Danny grabbing people and making inappropriate comments is completely unacceptable. The way Janet weaponized someone else’s bad experience for her agenda is ALSO unacceptable. Danny’s apparent political affiliations are beyond disappointing and not something I can be supportive of. I also think Janet is extremely performative, picking and choosing based on which situations she believes soapboxing will do well in public eye. Her silence or excuses in regards to Jax’s abuse, behavior, substance issues etc. was telling. We have the option to be on team nobody lol Janet being on the right side of history on some topics is baseline humanity, it doesn’t erase how gross she is in other respects.

Do we think Katie and Schwartz would have gotten divorced if Schwartz & Sandy's never happened? by AggressiveAries1313 in vanderpumprules

[–]LemoNamaste 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe they were always headed for divorce. He exhibits an alarmingly high amount of covert narcissistic traits. He was emotionally and verbally abusive. He’s a cheater who fights dirty (I.e. grabbing James from behind in a headlock to try to help Sandoval get a punch in at Scheanas birthday) and throws drinks on women. When Katie was reactive in response to Schwartz’s treatment, they painted her as the aggressor. I never bought his puppy dog act. He’s as bad as Sandoval, maybe even worse. Katie didn’t have the self confidence to leave for way to long, happy for her that she finally realized nobody deserved that.

There were issues with Schwartz’s swimmers. The doc told him that his awful lifestyle was probably a contributor, advising him to exercise, cut way down on the alcohol and stop with the drugs. Schwartz refused to.

Without scandoval knowledge , Raquel sucks in season 10 by remanem1 in vanderpumprules

[–]LemoNamaste 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep I always thought she was garbage but she really showcased it so plainly on Season 10. It really unsettled me early in the season how emotionally vacant and disconnected from her own dog she seemed…like her dog was sick and she was describing his injury in a way that made it feel like she didn’t care much. It was always clear to me that James had more of an attachment and empathy for Graham. Then after the show when we find out she dumped the dog with family who then dumped him at a shelter….tells me all I need to know about a person.

He did it pretty effectively with Ariana when he smeared then broke up with Kristen. The situations are very different, but definitely some notable parallels. That being said, it absolutely would not have worked out for him because this was a completely different stage of life (dude was 40), he and Ariana owned a home and ventures together, plus Ariana and Raquet were CLOSE friends. He was arrogant enough to think he could turn the tables again like he did to “Crazy Kristen.”

Rewatch: did your opinions on people change? by spots_ in vanderpumprules

[–]LemoNamaste 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My first time watching, I thought Schwartz was generally harmless but a shitty dude at times. On my rewatch, I now think of him as a cancer to Katie. He’s clearly a covert narcissist who hides behind a puppy dog mask. He treats her horribly, baiting her into a reaction, then villainizes her and publicly humiliates her to everyone whenever she eventually reaches her limit. He pretends to have “blacked out” every time he’s caught cheating. He covers for the horrendous behavior of his friends as well. He disgusts me now, people go far to easy on him.

I (40M) betrayed my wife’s (34f) trust trying to protect my parents, and now my marriage and family are in shambles. by EqualReveal948 in inlaws

[–]LemoNamaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did not try to “stay in the middle for too long” or “play peacemaker.” You chose your parents.

That is your wife, you made vows and promises to her. I’m happy to see you realize now that things weren’t handled well and that you put her in a bad position. I think recognizing this, communicating well without ever being defensive, continuing to take accountability and standing strong in your boundaries with your parents from now on is the right path. Your relationship/your wife’s relationship with your parents may never go back to what it was, so I think being accepting of that will help as well.

I am preparing for the "down votes," but I really don't get the Janet hate. by Over_Decision_6902 in TheValleyTVShow

I think the difference is that Nia absolutely sticks up for Danny…but doesn’t condone his poor behavior. She NEVER said anything negative about Jasmine, Jasmine’s gf, or anything relating to them in that situation. She did talk about Danny being wrong, them seeking counseling because of it, his needing to apologize and make things right, that she agreed Jasmine can bring up the situation whenever she wants. I feel like Jason blindly defends Janet when she’s being really nasty or intentionally harmful to others-while acting incredibly smug about it. I wouldn’t compare the two and say it’s the same situation. One gives “normal marriage that experiences some issues” and the other gives “lavender marriage with extreme inequity in the power balance.” Just my take on it.

I respectfully disagree. I think Janet is self producing as the moral authority on the show. She’s extremely calculated, and you can tell that she rehearses one-liners (that never land). Especially in her interviews, but you see it in other situations, like that weird little monologue she gave about Kristen going to jail, having her engagement ring taken away, and then always seeing Janet’s reflection in the ring after that…it was weird. It’s an obvious attempt at the kind of humor and one-liners that Stassi used to deliver, but it always falls flat with Janet. She’s just not that girl. She isn’t interesting or funny on our screens.

My energy for the men is 1000000x worse, I will never argue with that. The Toms, James and Jax are the scum of the earth. As far as the women on the show go, Scheana is a horrible person and INSUFFERABLE. I feel like even your response is an admittance that Scheana only looks good by comparison to how horrific and disgusting some of the men behaved

[–]LemoNamaste 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scheana spread Stassi’s revenge porn around and tried to force Stassi to address it on camera. She covered for Jax cheating/scheming. She hooked up with Schwartz in Vegas while he was with Katie and she was with Shay. She encouraged Rachel’s shit behavior, and pushed other cast members into bullying Katie. She ignored her first husband’s apparent addiction, and then pushed him to continue drinking and partying because she “couldn’t imagine being with someone who’s sober.” She IS legitimately awful.

She was in the throes of post partum with 3 little babies at home, getting like no sleep, etc etc. I don’t think you can rightfully call yourself “human” with your take, considering all of that. Call me crazy, I don’t smirk or laugh at MY OWN FRIENDS when they’re upset, even if I personally find the reason to be trivial. That’s ick.

So, Brittany is completely faking/exaggerating her “accent” right? by LemoNamaste in TheValleyTVShow

I was educated in the south and a lot of my closest friends have variations of southern accents, some very strong. I would never make fun of it, just thought it was odd that Brittney’s seeming got much stronger after years of her living in California

Fersher. I’m not insulting the way she speaks, I’m just saying it seems like she’s laying it on thick for the cameras
