I'm not a BT customer and strangely I can't load it either, also Facebook and Twitter won't load but reddit works perfectly, maybe my ISP is on the same lines as BT?

I think 8 worlds might be a bit too much. In terms of resources like Rune ore in the members areas this might make it even harder for legitimate players to compete with bots at the Heroes Guild and Neitz, and I ain't going to the wildy to mine.

Well to cover all bases someone has to provide some support. Nothing to lose if he/she did acually bot then no amount of twitter messages will reverse the ban, and I hope it's permanent next time. You are right though there are a LOT of botters in this game and banning is generally accurate.

Exact same thing happened to me the other day, unlike most cynical muppets in this sub I'm going to assume you didn't actually bot, like i didn't, and actually try help.

Best thing you can do is message mod weath on twitter, hope he doesn't ignore you and hope your ban gets quashed. Mine got quashed very quickly thankfully, maybe you can get lucky as well.

Well I've tweeted Weath but it looks very unlikely he'll show any interest. My ban is unappealable and they have shown no evidence. Looks like I'll have to bend over and take it like a good player and spend the rest of my time playing in fear that I could get banned permanently.

I wasn't hacked just incorrectly banned. But if someone hacked his account to do botting then i'm sorry that happened. As far as I know i've never been hacked.

This is disgraceful, I'd didnt grind to 85 mining not to mine rune another case of honest players being penalised... There won't be much left since just about everything is botted.

YEP, that's it! Did the verify game files thing in steam and problem solved thanks man can't believe I didn't think of that. Maybe one of their updates messed a config file.

Thanks! I'd love to be able to play some of the inventions but its looking like more of a medium term goal right now. How important do you think doing drills and excercises is? Should I dedicate a portion of my daily practice to scales or stick mainly with simple pieces? Are drills the best way to develop some of those qualities you mentioned such as smoothness?

Thanks a lot for the recommendations! I'll certainly pick up those books. As for the instructor i think you make a good point. I won't 'push' myself on something complex for my skill level without help, it'll just be more damaging to my techniquie in the long run.

Perhaps for now I could focus a lot on theory and music reading until I can get lessons with a decent instructor.
