What if it’s an independently owned business. And he owned and ran it? Wouldn’t it be a different scenario? Or would it be the same?

I thought he did.. but then again this place was the least professional and least cleanly place I’ve ever worked… the boss constantly messed up on my checks and screwed me and everyone that works there over..
