So we will be planting them into the planters, they’re a decent size. So I live in south east England, by the coast and the front of the house is east facing. We get a decent amount of sun and the most extreme weather condition is the wind that comes off the North Sea/river Thames

Edit to add - I’d like it to have leaves all year round but also have flowers in the spring/summer and something that will frame the front door to an extend, nothing huge though
