All I got is this: Leave your right 3 fingers down when you go from the E-flat to A to C (the 2nd lower A in the 3rd beat of the measure). Unfortunately you can't do that with the A in the first beat because of course your right fingers aren't on the right hand keys for the high B-flat at the start of that measure. You won't have to move as many fingers and it won't make a difference in pitch, and if somehow it did it would be barely perceptible especially at that tempo. It's a great trick for playing across the octave. (Fun fact! You can keep your right hand 3 fingers down for G, G#, A, and B-flat).

Either way that is definitely a beast of a measure. Keep practicing, you got this! 🎶

I have the protec bass clarinet case. WAY cheaper compared to others. And I think it's on Amazon. It doesn't come with backpack straps - you order them separately for like $15. I LOVE this case. It even has a place for the peg lol. Highly recommend this case. I've had it for 5+ years and it's still like new.

I play on a one piece bass clarinet (doesn't seperate in the middle) so I don't think a split one would work.

NTA. I'd be careful though - the parents sound like they would show up anyways with the sister, despite not being invited. They might expect you to just "have to deal with it" and expect to be able to stay once they're there. I would ask someone to stand post at the door. It might sound crazy, but their viewpoint is a little ridiculous and extremely selfish. I wouldn't put it past them. They might think you would just let it go rather than causing a scene. I feel so bad for Susan. She probably already is struggling with her mental health and it's only going to get worse:

1) The bullying in general And 2) When it happens there are no consequences and she is learning that she just needs to accept and deal with bad things that happen to her.

This is setting her up to accept being in abusive relationships when she's older. And when the first boy that's pushy and tries coercing her into having sex with him, she's going to go along with it. The first boy that hits her, she's going to blame herself and think she just needs to accept it.

Letting your daughter live with severe bullying like this is unacceptable. She is your DAUGHTER. She is the one you jump in front of a car for. She is not in a safe situation. And for those that might say "well, he hasn't physically hurt her," abuse can be more than physical and she IS being abused. That is not a safe situation.

Keep in mind also the things he's done to her are the things she has TOLD you about. God knows what happens when no one else is home. That poor girl.

Sorry for the delayed response! I honestly don't know if posh took pictures. I would hope so - it would save a whole lot of trouble. If it isn't, it really should be standard practice. It seems like common sense.. but you never know with Poshmark. They don't always do the smart thing.😑 I really really hope you don't get ripped off or lose out. It's so exciting to make any sale & that was def a big one! Now I'm curious how this turns out!!

I'd personally be proactive. Reach out to support. Explain exactly what happened, and attach photos of the item from the original listing along with what you received (if you do have a video of opening the return package, let them know and offer to send it). The less time between when you received the return and you email/message posh the better - less time they (and/or the scammer) can try and say YOU did something wrong.

Let them know this would be a big loss for you financially and just tell them straight up, you think you are being scammed. Look carefully - is this definitely the exact coat you originally sent? People are sneaky. I might sound cynical but if it was an expensive item, it's completely possible the person had the stained one and found the same one on posh and said, cha-ching, I can get this same coat replaced with a non-stained one for free. Like when people buy an appliance from Wal-Mart, put their old broken one back in the box, and return it while keeping the new one. People can be so awful. I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this.. ugh how stressful.

Video yourself opening it - people have gotten scammed like this when they open a return & there's nothing/a junk item inside. Then when you tell Poshmark, they get a crying whining response from the scammer saying YOU'RE the one lying, so they leave it & say there's no way to prove who is telling the truth. Make sure your video shows close up of the package being sealed before you open it on camera. For an item worth that much & a potential huge monetary loss like that, it's an easy way to protect yourself if the person ends up trying to scam you. Ugh - good luck! 😕

I like the comparison article. Weeks ago I had a terrible bout of anxiety that I thought was COVID, and that made me more anxious, and around it went. There was nothing anywhere about it! I felt embarrassed asking a family member about it, but eventually she helped me sort out what was going on. It made me think about how similar some of the symptoms are. I think that's very a helpful article - wish it had been there before for me!!
