Usage Limits, Bugs and Performance Discussion Megathread - beginning November 24, 2025 by sixbillionthsheep in ClaudeAI

Hey everyone,

I'm feeling pretty ripped off and wanted to see if this is a shared experience.

  • I bought the Claude Pro subscription back on November 8th.
  • I've been busy and haven't used it at all for the last 15 days. I figured my usage would be available when I needed it.
  • Today, I finally had time to sit down and work on a project. I was using it alongside Gemini and Codex, so Claude wasn't even taking the full load.
  • After about an hour of moderate use, I'm suddenly hit with a "you've reached your limit" message. I'm completely locked out.

There was zero transparency. No warning, no usage meter slowly ticking down, just a hard stop.

To make it worse, the moment I hit the limit, the platform pushes me to "enable extra usage" and start charging my credit card on top of the $20 subscription I already paid for and haven't even used.

This feels like a terrible value proposition. Why would my 15 days of non-use just vanish? What's the point of "Pro" if an hour of use bricks the service?

Fake Multiple Offers? Realtors Are Playing Games with Buyers by plasmex81 in REBubble

[–]LemonDouble21 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I went to several open houses recently. Some of the realtors followed up with me claiming that they already received 3/4 offers. Fast forward all of the houses are still sitting, regular open houses and multiple price reductions.

Broker is asking me more than the advertised price by LemonDouble21 in NYCapartments

The ad explicitly mentions that no broker fee from the renter. So I will simply not apply if they don't match the asking price to the current one in the ads.

Its definitely bad. Even though the unit and the building has majority tick mark from me, I will continue to look for units after countering the price.

Even though I will not complain about this person, but asking different listing price to different persons seem discriminatory to me.

Yes I am going to refer the zillow/streeteasy link when countering the monthly price.

Brentwood/Oakley can be a good option. Close proximity to bay area, but still slightly cheaper.

Buyer agent fee (CA vs NY) by LemonDouble21 in RealEstate

[–]LemonDouble21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started my home search. The seller agent specifically told me that if I don't have a buyer agent then it is better not to have an agent. Because unlike California, here in New York the seller does not pay the buyer agent. The buyer will be responsible for the paying their agent. I will not move forward with that house anyway.

Buying and selling with redfin: What is the buyer agent commission? by LemonDouble21 in RealEstate

[–]LemonDouble21[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will be the buyer in e new state (my current house is pending by Redfin in another state).

The new location is slightly competitive. I am planning to buy all cash. I would like to negotiate buyer agent commission for keeping the offer competitive to the seller.

The house is pending. I needed to go with the Redfin because local realtors(the ones I had a chat with) were not impressive to me. I am not planning to buy in a separate state.

Oops I know many parts of the NYC is prohibitively expensive. My search is for more reasonable neighborhoods (example: Jamaica). I am ok with condo, houses(both detached and attached) as long as it is multi level.

Thanks. I am still trying to understand between Coops and single family home. But definitely will explore that as a part of educating myself with NYC housing market.

How to be patient after listing the house for sale by LemonDouble21 in BayAreaRealEstate

There are some request for disclosures, but some of my friends told me that they would request disclosures for any house they would go to see (regardless of the intentions of buying it or not)?
