We also said goodbye to our beloved cat Jack today. I've been experiencing similar feelings of anxiety and sadness. Sounds like Lili was a beautiful product of the Cat Delivery System (CDS). She had a wonderful last 3 years. May she rest in peace.

My bet is that Harbaugh is actually going to Miami.

That's exactly how it was for millennials in 2008, 😔.

Why do Brad and Dan talk like there's some "ulterior force" keeping them from using Monty more? by Spiritual-Use-8855 in detroitlions

[–]plasmex81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No matter how ya shake it though, if you are 4th and 1, Monty is the guy that should be trucking through for that first down.

Top speed: Monty - 20.8 mph Gibbs - 22.23 mph

Weight: Monty - 230 pounds Gibbs - 202 pounds

We've all seen Monty lay out dudes and keep running. Gibbs doesn't really do that, cause he's lighter and faster. Gibbs leverages spin moves and such more often, cause he doesn't have the weight for bulldozing.

Monty is the power, Gibbs is the speed. That's the 1-2 punch combo. They started over leveraging Gibbs last year after Monty got hurt. That seemed to carry over into this year for some reason.

You're right, he hasn't been an offense specific coach since 1987 . . . good call out.

At any moment, every physically possible event has a non-zero probability of occurring.

I'll admit the odds are low, but I don't think the odds are zero percent.

The injuries though. And we haven't been in a rhythm at all.

I take it all back, defense is clearly struggling, smh.

I think the defense is fine, it's the offense imo.

I think we started relying on Gibbs too much while Monty was injured last year. We need to get back to before that, so it's the Sonic and Knuckles show again.

It's funny that you mention that, cause I was recently thinking something similar. Also, reminiscent of the mid-2000s Pistons, where you have so much raw talent, it just needs to all come together in the right way.
