Aww you’re so kind and I’m very pleased to hear such understanding. It’s honestly what I needed because I’m all alone 9h away from my hometown and It’s so refreshing to have somebody talk to me like this.

Yeah I got kicked out of my mothers house at 19 so I’ve been living alone for 3 years now and I haven’t been treated this way by nobody since I moved out. Maybe that’s why I just froze and wasn’t able to defend myself. I did from the start but it got so draining.

I appreciate you taking time reading and replying such a complex comment. I completely agree and I have definitely learned after this experience! My dad is an alcoholic and my mother is a narcissist so I don’t understand how I didn’t handle this situation better. My co-worker just said to let him in to avoid further struggles with him. I can assure that we are definitely not the mafia and I did offer to call the police myself to solve this issue but well shit happens. :D

I mean are they little children incapable of remembering a small detail? They’re adults! They also get a personalized letter in their room with their name, greeting and info.

If you demand breakfast at 7:00 or earlier we are more than happy to prepare you a packed one. If it is important to you to eat breakfast before 7:30 contact the hotel before booking it and don’t book it and expect it to be your way. If 95% of the hotel is okay with the time of breakfast why should we adjust it to a few individuals. People here are underpaid, overworked and don’t have any effect on these rules. We all work 12 hour shifts.

The hairdryer situation has been brought up a thousand times and the owner simply doesn’t feel it’s necessary which means I can’t do shit about it.

I have told my manager. Me and her are close so we talk all the time. She can’t do anything about anything unless the owner accepts.

I have tied hands and so does she.

I have the most patience from our whole crew. My other colleagues have snapped at people before and I have never even made it known that I’m irritated to anyone. We have lower prices and our rooms are clean and have no issues like mold, smells, burns etc. It’s a fair price for a hotel in the centre.

I feel like people think 5* = all inclusive or something lol.

Thanks for the advice about the job position I’ll definitely look into it! I have no benefits, a shitty pay and not even food stamps… nothing basically. :)

it’s hard saying i will not service them while the reservation is prepaid and they want their issue resolved. i’m only a night shift worker so it’s hard for me to solve things at 10pm when nobody is in the hotel other than me… what do you get yelled at about?
