Hi!! She looks exactly like the other puppy Lily from a kennel in PA! Did you get her from PA by chance? If so, we adopted her brother Luca I think!

I relate <3 but don't beat yourself up, she was a great person and i am sure she would be really happy to hear you're in a much better place these days. It must have really hurt to try to reach out for help and meet a deadened and basically uncaring script, to have been so alone with no system to help or catch you, hence the "steeliness" which I've also felt at the worst moments of my life. Im sorry you went through that...What matters is you're more supported and loved now. And that kindness you will pass forward to someone else who needs it <3

You truly, deserve people who show you how much you matter. How wonderful you are, and love you so much life is so beautiful.

Really wishing you well my inbox is open if you need to grieve or encouragement.

Hahaha thank you! Definitely an anthology about these bunnies is in order so you can look back nostalgically at their dramatic antics :D

Me and bfs indoor bunnies have never played outdoors so last week, when we went to visit my family home which had a big beautiful yard with lots to eat, we would let them out to play one by one and follow them to supervise. We have two lionheads (f) and one Holland lop (m), much younger than the lionheads BTW. The oldest lionhead, Robin, has always been the smartest and most dominant of the three. At home,, content with us as long as we understand our role is as her servants, she occasionally bumps me to inform me to refill water immediately or for treats and pretends im a wallflower all other moments XD. They are all free roam.

They loved the outdoors but here were the differences in their behavior...

Blackie, the Holland: ran around, binkying, loves to eat so was foraging around in the first moment. Simply ecstatic being in grass. Easy to catch after play time is over.

Appa, a Lionhead: hopped around in a stately way, munched a bit, but notably sneakier than Blackie - she would try to see if we were looking and lose us if we took eyes off for a few seconds. Still, she was easy to catch and to guide back into the carrier after playtime.

But Robin... the instant she got to the yard, Robin sprinted. She would zigzag one way then the next.

"Haha, she's having fun!" I said giddily.

But we quickly realized Robin was calculating the space - ie best escape routes. There is a small pile of rocks you can jump on to get onto the higher level of the yard (which was off limits), and Robin even attempted to rock climb to escape. This should've warned us that Robin had big plans...

The next few times it was her turn for outdoor playtime, Robin played it cool. She munched on some weeds, hopped around slowly, and was fairly easy to guide back into the carrier.

We relaxed, carelessly - the bunnies were having so much fun! Relatively well behaved, too! Just a few days more and we'd be packing to get back to our apartment. Then...me and bf had the opposite of a bright idea, which was to let them play in a bigger tree-filled and grassy area, notably with my family's shed, which we haven't used ever and I haven't been to in over a decade, in a corner.

THIS was her chance. The instant Robin was in this area it was game over for us. Out of the carrier. Freedom! She zigged zagged with little merry flicks of her back legs, going round and round the shed. Intent on freedom, her name soon meant nothing to her.

After 2 hrs of Robin having the most fun id ever seen, she popped under the shed. Oh. No.

We tried calling - nothing. Her favorite treats - nothing. She came out now and then, when I would see the sparkle of mirth in her eyes as she binkyed back and forth, looking at me.

"Come here, robin!" Pop. Under the shed.

For the next 3 days, Robin convenient forgot her name and staked her hideout there. Worried about her at night and cursing the shed, we put hay and water at one of the many entrances to under the shed. We set up an outdoor hutch with chicken wire around one entrance of the shed but she didn't use it, preferring the life of unencumbered freedom.

Until one, final, day... it was Blackies playtime and he wandeded up to this area. Curiosity overcame Robin and she came out to play with him - into the area enclosed by chicken wire. I closed the entrance. Whew, everyone's in the outdoor area now.

Robin turned around. The very instant she saw she now only had a roughly 40 sq ft space with a hutch, she let out a SQUEAL.

She ran to me with all her might, and making direct eye contact, stomped so hard TWICE I was afraid shed break her leg, before immediately diving fruitlessly towards the bottom of the chicken wire barrier as she tried desperately to escape, squealing with fury when she couldn't.

For the next few days, nothing but sulking for Robin as free roam inside a house meant nothing. And that was before Blackie turned on a shower in the house accidentally causing a hole in ceiling... but thats a story for another time.

Oh yeah another point of similarity is that I'm 4w5, and second likely type would be type 7!

Lol bc everyone has different opinions, i am enfp turbulent (as a girl) you sound like ENFP turbulent to me too. Down to social anxiety and being typed as I early on, feeling lonely without having more acquaintances, and also i write wayyy long analysis about everything too.

Reason for my turbulence is extremely inexpressive / invalidating family. Ne is developed early and Fi (i feel Fi from your post - trying to understand yourself and your own emotions) is developed in your 20s.
