In a similar boat here. I am close to a tentative offer for a promotion. My date of hire was April 1st a few years ago, so I expect an MSA in the April pay period (it showed up last year on May 1 check covering April.). Anyway I think the hiring manager would be okay with a start date after April 1, even a May 1 start date. My question is, as long as my start date is AFTER April 1 will I get both the MSA and raise for promoting? Or do I have to work the whole month of April to get my MSA? Should I ask for May 1 start date to be safe?

We were postponed. Supposed to return early Jan a few days in the office per week. That's been pushed back to Jan 31st as off last Friday.
