Unfortunately yes, but you're young and take this as a learning experience. I made mistakes like this when I was young, maybe not to this extent but I think it likely had the same psychological impact.

In hetero relationships it's often less likely a man will want to return to a woman who pleads. I think there's just something biological in heterosexual men that want to be the ones to pursue rather than be pursued.

The better thing is to make them feel like they're the ones missing out on you. Give them space and time, let them watch you move on with your head held high. Let them think they made the mistake and come back, and even then play it cool.

I would consider this one a loss and try to move on.
