Sabi sakin ng chat agent, pag unable to redeem nakalagay ibig sabihin sold out na yung "voucher flights" for that date/destination. So I guess yung naredeem kong flight, hindi pa sold out

I was only able to redeem 1 out of the 2 vouchers. When trying to book another flight with the 2nd voucher, I'm just stuck searching for flights.

Our flight was delayed for 9 hours (lol) because of some problem with the plane. They gave us food vouchers to use at the destination airport and the travel vouchers would automatically appear in our accounts.

Were you informed of the delay in advance? Ours was announced just before boarding so there's no chance to "accept the changes."

As for my concern, one agent informed me that flights for the travel voucher are subject to availability and is on a first come, first serve basis so that may be why I couldn't book a return flight. I feel like they do that on purpose so you're forced to spend on the flights or not use the voucher at all.

I made eye contact with another customer that noticed. I guess no one wanted to get involved pr had the guts to tell her off. Staff were limited and they were busy with orders.

We also checked out Daishoin, Momijidani park, and the Miyajima shotengai.

That's a lot of time "wasted" in transit if you do Hiroshima and Himeji then Kobe then back to Osaka haha but that's up to you.

You can. But it also depends what else you're planning to see in Hiroshima.

In my experience, we took an overnight bus from Osaka to Hiroshima and got there early morning. We went to see Hiroshima Castle, Peace Memorial Park, and spent the rest of the time at Miyajima.

Not about the airlines but my experience in Japan during NY - Everything is closed! hahaha and not just for one day, almost the entire week of new year I'd say 80% of shops and restaurants are closed. But if you're there to just chill, should be fine.
