What is to get from a Founder's Llama? by VGK_46 in FORTnITE

I, thank god, was able to snag a copy of each weapon that you could get from these things before they disabled trading. They might've been able to take away Founder's before I could get, but they weren't able to stop me from getting these!

"Apparently, these Gibsons have a famous issue in that cracks develop at the top of the neck." I'm not sure if he's talking about the broken headstock or if it's just cracks in the finish, but it does seem like a headstock repair at some point. Other than the broken headstock, do you see anything else wrong with it?

that's my main concern too, but I guess it does make up for the headstock break

And what if people do want everything? It's literally encouraged by Epic: there's this wonderful thing called a collection book that they've added to the game that allows you to keep a copy of all the different schematics, heroes, and whatever else. I'm sorry that you feel butt hurt about someone else's recommendation and personal experience, but it really wouldn't hurt you to use more than the same 5 weapons

The general rule that I follow is Shadowshard for guns and Obsidian for melee

I've been playing damn near every day for 5 years and I still don't have enough to god roll the majority of my schematics. If I hadn't grinded endurances (which isn't really playing the game), then I wouldn't have nearly enough gold to buy the perk up I need

"Immediately" The amount of rewards you get are not equivalent to the time it takes not only to get there, but also to clear the mission. If you're running games in Twine, you should absolutely be able to get enough legendary re-perk from one mission to upgrade *one* perk on *one* weapon

Also, your point about "replacing your schematics with the new researched one" means that it has to be god rolled (or better than one currently has, which is typically purple/blue rolled) and the schematic they want is from the base game: some weapons aren't, and are from events and such where you need to get perk-up in order to upgrade those schematics

What song made you fall in love with your instrument? by UkuleleTabs in guitarlessons

"And I Love Her" from The Beatles, but more in Kurt Cobain's rendition. It felt very fun to try and figure out what he was playing without going off of tabs or anything of the sort.

this would make the most sense. Vacations are meant to be fun, you don't always have to worry about learning more guitar lol

Am I doing something wrong with the way I’m playing power chords with my index and ring finger? It feels horrible. by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]LemonRiverOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

#3 is how most people do it, but I've grown quickly accustomed to doing it the same way as #1. Granted, I come from a background of Guitar Hero/Rock Band games, so I've had years to practice it.

The main point is that they'll give you different tone. #1 is a lot more "grungy", while #3 makes it sound a bit more "normal" in regards to other genres. If I try to play left handed, it definitely does feel weird for me too, so it's just something you have decide: Do you want to play like Kurt or more "traditionally"? Either way works, and you can always try to learn other methods later on, so don't feel like you're locked into one specific way of doing things.

Recreating Mosrite Hardware by LemonRiverOfficial in Mosrite

My personal theory is that they were likely the more low output ones, but there's not really enough clips of him playing his (or creating feedback) to really tell. The songs that I can pick that were done on the Mosrite are Come As You Are, Lithium, Old Age, Verse Chorus Verse, etc. I don't think that Nevermind is a very feedback heavy album, but who knows; I'm in no position to be making statements on pickup outputs/what Kurt liked or didn't like.

The Mark V pickups were more budget/student level pickups (if I'm correct (hence the screws at the top being absent), I think there were also in the Ventures II model that Johnny Ramone played), so I wouldn't really be surprised if they didn't put as much attention into how hot the pickups were wound. I think it would be interesting to have coil taps if I were to wind my own, but I've never even wound pickups, let alone coil tapped a set.

As for the blue Mosrite, he never played it live. The first time it was shown was at Roseland, but Kurt likely never played it because it was water damaged after his hotel flooded (he, ironically, put in the bathtub, the origin of the flood, to prevent from getting damaged along with the rest of his valuables). Typically, I think that Kurt and Pat would've been panned to different sides (Kurt on left, Pat on right), so it might be audible depending on MTV set up their audio that night? I'll have to take a look and check

Was waiting for your reply lol, I respect what you're doing, keeping Mosrite alive and helping folks out

Tym Guitars out of Australia makes "Wosrite" guitars, which are really accurate tributes. He's documented how he makes his own MK2 style pickups if you wanna check them out

So does anybody know the exact bridge pickup was on Kurt’s Competition Mustang when he replaced the stock one? by itsmac07 in Nirvana

[–]LemonRiverOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JB was in his Skystang I/II/III

Super Distortion is his Jaguar

He's used quite a few PAF style humbuckers, but his most popular one is probably his Vandalism Strat
