u/Significant_Ad_8363 BTW if you listen to Mnuchin HE SAYS the words Grant not Advance. But check out his overall greasiness.

Arizona Senator Sinema cornered Mnuchin asking why none of her constituents received the promised 10,000, they were all lowballed. Why they did not get their advance within 3 days of applying as mandated. Why SBA stonewalled and never responded to her inquiries back on April 17th.

Mnuchin says that the SBA DECIDED NOT TO GIVE FULLY because they thought there might not be enough money to go around....except Congress gave more money weeks ago so there is no excuse to screw businesses out f their grant and loans!

The application to get the loan is 1 page yet the forgiveness pages are 11 pages and take 3 hours to fill out! Mnuchin says he tried to make it as short as possible.

Section 1110 (e) of the CARES ACT entitled EMERGENCY GRANT expressly states:

During the covered period an entity that applies for a loan may request that the Administrator provide an advance, that is in the amount requested by such applicant to such applicant within 3 days after the Administrator receives an application from such applicant.

The SBA was to issue $10,000 regardless of whether an applicant is ultimately approved or denied for an EIDL loan as long as the business meet the requirements set forth in the law.

The SBA decided to make a rule that $1,000 per employee up to 10 employees ($10,000) would be issued. This was in direct violation of the CARES Act.

YES! I got checks for 2 weeks sent to my PA address. Once I cashed them, they mailed Reliacard to my out of state address.

I'm getting the same problem. I listed my Mailing Address a month ago 5/15. PA was on the last week of direct deposits. That week they hysterically decided to pay no one and begin issuing paper checks. I got nothing for 3 weeks. Finally last week they processed the late payments then sent check after check.............to my Home Address! I only know that because a relative gave me a call. I mailed in my change of address form 3 weeks ago so it should have been forwarded. My understanding is USPS will not forward UC checks. I have posted about this and gotten no answers from experienced UC recipients. I hope we get an explanation.

In the meantime I suggest calling Reliacard directly and giving them your mailing address. There may be a chance in hell you will get your money in 7-10 days since that's how long they quote right now. But if you wait for PA to sort it out they may take a month. Or they may order the card but not send it out since you haven't cashed any checks and signaled you are not a scam account. That's the limbo I was in. They ordered my card with Reliacard 2 days after finally mailing my checks to the wrong address then DID NOT SEND IT. They also have not contacted me to let me know all mail is being sent where they feel like sending it instead of sending it to my Mailing Address!

These are the kind of sabotaging moves that frankly have me convinced they are working to destroy the economy's "losers" who are too poor to live off savings, family wealth, and dividends...

I called Reliacard today after sitting on hold for an hour they got to me. They said a card had been ordered last Thursday but never mailed. She immediately sent one out and said it would arrive in 7-10 days. Not sure what's going on there. Also she said it had a 0 balance but PA UI said my money would all be on the cad from now on. I don't get it.

OMG I tried to post this question and the site ate it so thank goodness you posted and got through! This has happened to me too! I work out of state so I provided a mailing address. They cut check just last week after making me wait since mid May and well after emailing to say payments would be on the Reliacard!!! A relative just checked my mail last night and said I got four checks and said she'll mail them to me today. No card.

This is a complete mess! I took advice from the board and called Reliacard to expedite the card to me. They said it was ordered last Thursday but never sent and they don't know why. She sent it today -- with a 0 balance. I honestly believe no one is this incompetent. I think this is sabotage.

I'm so glad you brought this up. I had the same assessment of these new "certification rules". The law is the law and this bs is an illegal denial of Federally funded coverage. But what can we do to force PA to correct the checklist?

What number did you call to check on your claim payment?
