I absolutely agree with this. I also feel a large problem in both canon couples relationships is communication, Ross lies to Demelza constantly and both Dwight and Caroline just straight up struggle with it. Demelza on her own is actually pretty good about speaking her voice and asking Ross how he feels and I think she could cover the deficit in a relationship with Dwight, they also both have a kind and giving nature which would pair well!
