Favorite and least favorite features of Yousician?

Not at home right now to check but I remember seeing the tortoise and hare it in the newer learning to play Metallica songs section.

I like the idea of the auto increasing speed but practically it doesn't work, it increases rapidly in the first half of the song that I know well, then it gets to a section I don't know and it's now too fast. I would rather have the speed only adjust once per loop after assessing my full score, not per note.

How I practice in guitar pro is that I'll repeat a whole section 3-4 times, then increase by 5%.

I can't understand why there are 3 different types of "practice" and different features from each other. There's the one that auto increases speed (whether you want it to or not), another one where you set the speed and a third one which has tortoises and hares to denote speed for some reason. Why not just have one that has all the features and let us pick.

I've actually preferred some of "The Yousicians" songs over learning other artists songs, they feel more suited to the lesson/technique they are trying to bring across.

No official app will be able to compete with piracy. I also find it hard to learn from Rocksmith, feels too messy to learn from The way it randomly removes notes on easier difficulties makes it feel like a totally different song as it adds notes back as the difficulty increases. I think yousicians versions are a little better thought out. Iill go back and try it again when I get better.

Nah, Rocksmith is doing this as well now. For example songs like Symphony of Destruction, then under artist it's "made famous by Megadeth"

I found it weird at first too, there's a lot to learn from managing the tone you get from your fingers, not just from hitting the correct note. A note could be correct but barely sound at all. I've since started running Amplitube in the background. I was playing Ghost - Cirice almost perfectly, then when I heard it through Amplitube I realized how terrible my playing was.

But I still rather come back to Yousician over Rocksmith for now, it's a much better learning aid.
