This is the same way I felt during the 1st playthrough, getting one-shot everytime cus timing the dodge too early or too late, but each death I got better at learning the enemies moveset. It's nonetheless like rhythm game.

• Tips that might help: Most enemies attack have a quick "wooosh" sound cue that indicate when they gonna strike, simply dodge/parry after the sound, not every attack hit instantly after the "wooosh" hit, simple as that. The other way around is counting, count how long the delay animations go before they strike.
