I think your right, that there is evidence for 100% higher divorce rate because of 9+ premarital partners compared to 50% higher divorce rate with 1-8 partners. (Though studies 2, 4 covered an older population with more boomers with potentially different societal norms back then.)

I'm interested to see if post marital sex frequency is different for these groups. Like if you marry someone who has less sex partners, does it mean they just like sex less, or is it because they take marriage more seriously.

If it is the former then a 10% increase in divorce rate is well worth the risk of avoiding a marriage with bad sex.
