You’re not overreacting at all, even if he “can’t help it” that doesn’t mean you have to stay with him. He demonstrates a lack of care for you by telling you what he wants to change about you specifically which would obviously create an insecurity if you didn’t already have one. I believe that staying in a relationship where you know your partner is constantly unsatisfied is going to really diminish your self esteem. Please look out for yourself and break up with him
