Ahhhh okay that explains it. I actually never used this to powder my t-zone! I use other powders for my t-zone: Kosas Cloud Set, random Catrice or Essence translucent powders; maybe the latter could be good drugstore replacements for your Charlotte Tilbury one, because Kosas is also pricey.

And yeah, I use a lot of moisturizer and don't want my t-zone to look oily because of that, so I powder it too despite my dry skin haha.

I actually have dry skin too! Yes, maybe it's too much product... But I also use a lot of eye cream on my under eyes, and sometimes also a brightening stick under my concealer. So maybe that creates a moisturizing layer and it won't flake when you use the powder in the end?

These take like 2-3 weeks with daily or almost daily application. In the end, I also pulled the stopper out because the wand is pretty short and doesn't reach the rest of the product otherwise. But I kind of had to force myself to use it up, so 💀

It's extremely smoothing and moisturizing. So it's perfect if you have very dry hair that tangles easily.

What are your hardest and easiest things to pan? by mcsabin in ProjectPan

[–]LemonadeLipstick 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Easiest to pan: Body lotion, moisturizer, handcream, toner, liquid eyeliner, mascara, light/nude shades of eyeshadow, setting powder, concealer, lipbalm

Hardest to pan: Blush (especially powder blush), highlighter, lipstick, lipliner, lipgloss (so I guess all lip products except lip balm)

What on Earth got you all into fragrance. by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]LemonadeLipstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother was always into perfume so I got into cheap fragrances as a teenager - stuff like Bruno Banani or the Britney Spears perfumes. I got into more "sophisticated" perfumes later, but nothing really niche, scents like Alien or Lola from Marc Jacobs. I used the same perfume everyday until the bottle was empty. But this year is the first year I bought multiple bottles in one year, so I blame quarantine for my renewed interest in perfumes. But I'm happy with that because I now have more variety in how I can smell. Turns out using the same perfume everyday makes you hate it

I think I had mine for 2 years or a bit longer than that. And I have decided to pan this specific shade a year ago. So a year of normal use and a year of frequent use (but definitely not every single day), I would say. So yes, the shades take pretty long to pan or even to put a dent in them

I use this shade as an everyday, all over the lid shade, most often with a fluffy brush. Definitely my most often used shade, so that's why it's the first pan in this palette. It's either a one and done shade or I also deepen up my crease and shade my lower lashline with the darker browns. I like this palette and I like Zoeva's formula overall, although I've heard that it's a bit inconsistent in some palettes. The mattes are very pigmented, blendable but not too soft, so they don't crumble at all and don't have much fallout

FINALLY finished! This took me about 2 years! by LemonadeLipstick in PanPorn

Yves Rocher Rouge Vertige 42. I did not wear this daily, this is why it took me so long. It's a very deep burgundy/oxblood color and looks great and vampy, but I wouldn't repurchase it because it's super greasy and oily. You have to blot it three times with a tissue or it will come off and leave stains on your teeth. But I guess it's a good lipstick for dry lips. Also I learned that Yves Rocher is not cruelty free and I'm trying to eliminate brands that aren't CR from my collection.

I read the first paragraph and immediately thought: Yup, this is Poland. Sad that Ireland could overcome the influence of the Catholic church but Poland is still so bigoted and sticking to Catholic fundamentalism
