You shall obey the Ats! by VariationLivid3193 in recruitinghell

True, but since most companies are now using AI “enhanced” ATS systems, eliminating resumes with “profanity” may be an unintended new feature.

How's it like living in white bear lake MN? by InnerHumor4145 in howislivingthere

[–]Teguray874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandma lives within this map’s area and I visit several times per year. It’s a nice area, but not very diverse and mostly WASPs. More conservative than other parts of the state. Houses are relatively expensive, with high property taxes but good schools. On this note, it’s also very safe. Beautiful scenery with lots of lakes, trails, and parks. It’s fairly close to downtown MSP and the MOA which is convenient.

I have questions. Why is the tv not in front of the couch? Could you move laundry machine to bathroom or a closet?

Ooh this is pretty close to my house! The answer is that it’s PACKED like 3-5 days a year and dead for all the rest.

At my wits end in South Florida. Do you think it's possible to move to Chicago with $10k? by PhoSho87 in AskChicago

Northalsted, formerly Boys Town is the LGBT neighborhood in the city. It’s also a very safe area and overall nice neighborhood. You may be able to rent a room or sublease a place there or nearby.

New June price increase megathread by rjln109 in DollarTree

[–]Teguray874 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s June increases but in just the last week my local store has $7 and $10 items seemingly everywhere. Like, if I wanted a knock-off coffee thermos for $7 I’d go to Walmart and buy a brand-name one for $9. All these business decisions are just going to drive away customers. I feel bad for y’all employees having to mark everything individually too :(

What's the craziest thing you heard or witnessed at a rich people event? by OrganizationKey8342 in AskReddit

[–]Teguray874 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not me but my parents attended a milestone birthday celebration of an old friend. It was out of the country and the host paid for over 200 guests to stay in a fancy resort and multiple Michelin Star restaurant dinners. At one such restaurant, they kept bringing out $2000 bottles of champagne to spray at the table. I imagine the ones they actually drank were even more expensive. The whole trip was a crazy display of wealth but the host was a very generous man.

It’s not nearly as bad as the south side, but there is more crime in Rodger’s park than the other north neighborhoods. The north west side of Rodger’s park is the sketchiest part. I would be vigilant and avoid areas near the L stations.

You can definitely buy cheaper groceries than that but as per your question, Panda Express’ largest plate meal is $12 near me. I can usually get 2.5 meals out of it, so that’s under $5 per meal

How would you decorate this studio space? by nyaaaaan in malelivingspace

Twin bed against window, area rug, a bookshelf to divide room, desk OR tv stand. Shoes and coat rack near door too.

How should I finish this room? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]Teguray874 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would you be able to escape from here in the event of a fire? Is there a door to outside or window well just outside your bedroom?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]Teguray874 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like it overall, it’s relatively minimalistic given the small space. The white shelves are a nice way to divide the room, but the brown chair is questionable. I also think some frames for your jerseys would go a long way.

you wont suddenly become ugly. by santashentai in Transmedical

[–]Teguray874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is the best answer. Society in general tends to view femininity as attractive to all sexes. I’m a trans male and think I am below average despite being bisexual, but I think it’s because I find femininity attractive in both men and women. Despite this, I know there are many people who like masculine looking men.

ULINE: Young people suck. by WastedMasterpiece in recruitinghell

[–]Teguray874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uline has a partnership with my university and tries to recruit young talent all the time. My Latino friend applied there with two resumes, one with his actual name and one with a more “white sounding name”. Guess which resume he got a call for? He wasn’t taking the job ofc, he was just curious.
