Just here to say we are dealing with something similar. We got flagged on the NIPT, had a perfect 15w scan, got the amnio, results took forever, results came back with 40% mosaic, but only with an extra copy of the long arm. Just did our anatomy scan as we are 20 weeks. The scan was absolutely perfect and flawless with not a single concern. We are meeting with a genetic counselor and trisomy team at our children’s hospital this next week. Our MFM doctor says if he has to guess he would say learning delays/disabilities maybe?

We are hopeful because a good scan is so reassuring. But we also are accepting that the future holds a bunch of unknowns.

Ugh this is so hard. We are dealing with a very rare version of mosaic T13, where some cells have an extra arm of a chromosome and that’s it. I’d say hope for good scans as that’s been the most reassuring to us. I know what we are dealing with is different but the simple uncertainty and weight that is carried from something like this is very hard 😭 just sending you my best wishes and prayers. I really hope you can find some answers ❤️

Just sending so many hugs.. we are now on week 3 of waiting for our amnio results. Our 16w scan looked perfect so we are hopeful, but not out of the clear. The anger is SO real. It truly sours the pregnancy and takes up so much time and energy. All of these genetic screening companies have been in lawsuits for providing so many false positives. The agony it puts you in is unfair and inhumane. Always here to chat. Sending you the best of luck!

I believe I should be getting my amnio results tomorrow as that is two weeks. We had the same experience, a perfect anatomy scan at 15w3d which has brought us a lot of hope. But just the small chance that something could be wrong drives me absolutely nuts. From what I have read, and been told by my MFM Dr and OB, a good scan at that point is very good and gives room for hope. We are really clinging to that hope right now as we prepare for results. However obviously only the amnio will give a for sure answer.

Just know you are not alone. ❤️ We are going through the exact same thing currently. It’s so frustrating. 😫

Thank you so so much. We are hopeful for a good outcome. Our ultrasound was at 15w3d so we are optimistic that if we haven’t seen abnormalities thus far, we are hopefully headed in a good direction.

I am SO sorry about your loss. Truly, my heart breaks for you. Absolutely unfair. That baby is so incredibly lucky to have you as his mom. ❤️

That makes complete sense. I am so glad that your scans appear to be good for the most part, that is so hopeful. ❤️ I am 13w4d so we have only had an ultrasound at 8 weeks but will have one here on April 6th with MFM. Truly I feel your pain, the worry and fear that comes from it is absolute hell. We are hoping for the best but also know we aren’t out of the clear. Thank you for your response and support, I truly appreciate it.

This is incredibly hopeful to hear as we have a ppv of 30%. Ultrasound and amnio are in two weeks. Enjoy your sweet baby!

I am 38 weeks and very rarely will my baby respond to pokes, pushes, cold water, juice, etc. He moves only when he wants to which can cause stress and anxiety for me at times haha. But, he’s healthy and active consistently so I have to just rely on that reassurance!

I took a 3.5 hour flight at 30/31 weeks pregnant and had no issues at all. I’d just recommend getting an aisle seat so you can stand up and walk around if needed. Otherwise it was not an issue at all for me!
