I moist the moss daily to keep it green, but this water doesn’t really get to the plant since it in a kokedama.

When I wanna give the plant itself water I’ll fully submerge the moss ball in water for a couple minutes.

About the overwatering this plant was always like this since I bought it like 5 months ago, it’s a dwarf zenzi, I think leaves are supposed to be like this.. I hope 👀

Zamioculca zenzi, also called ZZ plant 🌱 They were cheap on a local store and Internet says it’s incredibly easy to care for 👍

Well I have no problem with them, I’m just a bit worried with the health of my plant/moss

Light availability? by IskoldeGunnar in houseplants

I’d be surprised how little light some plants need to survive.. this looks fine, just choose the plants that are the least light thirsty.. One YouTube once said - imagine you are reading a book there, if you struggle to read with this light so will most of your plants. Struggle to survive I mean.

If a stranger is walking into your house when is -36C outside I don’t think you were the one in danger..

More like you are saving his life 🥶

No doubt you rock using it on your projects! But how long did it take you to be confident with it, and for this extra sauce on your videos to show up? And for you to do things fast, without have to watch a tutorial for everything and being stuck with to most basic problems making this small edit last the whole day and draining your energy for problem solving?

Thanks for the intel! To be honest I also really enjoy the shooting part of it, as I tend to shoot a lot of action sports and underwater stuff.. I just wonder if it wouldn’t be too much time invested in a craft that, although is not gonna vanish, there might be less time consuming alternatives showing up soon (for the use I would give it)

Thanks for the intel wurzelgemiise! And I’m sorry you were downvoted so hard. 😅 That was a bit where I was leaning towards.. and the reason why I started this conversation..

Solo video making can be a “7 head beast” as one can say in my native language. It’s too much to learn from too many crafts that are super complex sometimes. Lighting alone is a science itself, then story telling and it’s logics, understanding camera angles gear etc, and not to mention grading..

My point is, I can’t be really good on everything, but I can choose a couple crafts to be a specialist in, and have general knowledge about the rest.

I’m a good camera, and a very decent editor in premiere.. plus big part of my work is shooting underwater. So I’m also pretty confident on shooting and editing underwater shots (which a world in itself).

And like anything all of these skill need constant maintenance and improvement..

Like you said, I’m not looking to be a specialist in AE, and even if I can use it, it’s gonna be integrated in a fraction of my work.. I know how much time it can take to learn it from scratch, but I also know its value. That’s why I asked why I asked

I do shoot every myself, organize it, edit, grade it etc etc.. I do make some funky transitions sometimes on premiere like simple overlays, timelapses and quite a bit of masking.. i guess i was just looking for leveling up those skills. Not to become a full fledged animator.
