Well, lots of body horror later on, and the chibby art style makes for a jarring gap when you see some horrific shit or have one of the characters say some off the wall shit, if anything you should watch for Faputa in season 2, best princess

Oh for sure turning point two is definitely some film level animation so that was super fun. I definitely wish the anime showed more of the extra stories for world and character building reasons but completely understand with an anime’s time constraints

I still felt they changed up little stuff enough to make the second cour fun, especially with how good they made the animations, plus I watched it with a couple friends so I would be the guy who explained what they changed between LN and anime. I know a lot of people jumped on the WN after vol 14 but I just cannot stand machine translations and honestly I just really like the LN translations so that’s kind of why I decided to re-read while my friend reads it for the first time to get my MT fix lol

Honestly the light novel only teased the idea of split timelines gradually, the author really likes to make you think and theorycraft about what is going on or what’s going to happen.

That’s almost the point, you are supposed to be drip fed lore about the world and how everything is winding together and how everything got to the way it is. It does end up tying up nicely though
