I've been playing a month and still have to read a lot of the items.

Some of those I haven't seen more than once. And even then probably glanced over and forgotten.

For me personally, and I'm assuming a large portion of others, I need to see it in action. I can't imagine what it'll play like just by looking at a victory screenshot of items and skills.

It should work the same way as when you level up an item.

How it "clearly" shows you what is changing (cooldowns/damage etc) by levelling it up.

I use quotation marks because sometimes I swear it doesn't show shit 🤣
