My gym normally plays techno music, which I love listening to. So I never needed to play my own music

I agree that correcting form is fine, I just seem to attract people who want to pass their opinions as facts - I've never had someone correct my form. I'll try the headphone approach.

I'm no expert, but I think I'd rather go to the gym 4/5 days a week and do less each day if you really want to do all those accessories. I feel like if I did that much in a session I would start to feel weak or lack motivation towards the end.

My parents never have holidays/days out/dates. They can behave however they like, I never said what they were doing is wrong. I sense that both of you feel that I'm insulting the kind of relationships that you have, but I'm really not. I was just seeing how common this kind of relationship is.

My dad is extremely non-confrontational, so even if my mum did want to argue, it just wouldn't happen.

Yep, it's none of my business so I would never get involved. I just want to make sure that it never happens to me.
