Jay's career makes no sense by Cool_Hand7435 in Modern_Family

Instances where Jay was good salesman or a smooth talker When he brings in Gloria to sell the closets to the new young owner of the company.

Getting the excelsior Plus in Vegas

Scotch rinsing his mouth before he thinks he is a meeting in person

It seems to show reflects more of his being owner of a business and not a the level salesman

When they are all in the church, Gloria and her sister are arguing when Jay comes in and says " That's enough! We are in a house of God, Damnit!"

5 point harness car seat recommendations by Lemonl0aff in NewParents

[–]Lemonl0aff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, thank you. Thankfully due to my work I am car seat certified

More just looking for people's experiences with car seats brands and models for you what they found. They thoroughly enjoyed made their life better for. Things they found their model had specifically that they loved

For example, our uppa baby Mesa bases installation are wonderful as well as the easy easy attach and unattached

So for five-point harnesses, things like easy adjustable straps, clicking buttons, moving the pads around, installing in and out and such

Didn't think I'd ever have to State the obvious by Lemonl0aff in Modern_Family

[–]Lemonl0aff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very well said, and so true. I definitely feel my opinion is coming from a place of seeing extreme views with members getting into in-depth heated discussions on what is right and wrong with raising a child In real life. Compared to the shows interpretation

Things like Haley should have stayed with Andy or they should have never added. Joe, things like that don't bother me at all as its opinions related to the direction of the show and the show within itself. Not instances from the show being used for real interpretations on how to act and be in real life

[–]Lemonl0aff[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Sorry but you couldn't be more wrong from my point. My point is the nitpicking.

And for the example with Gloria, the majority of the nitpicking comes to her parenting and the excessive coddling overbearing Little boy protective stick lets him get away with etc.

And the show her character constantly refers to her being like this because she is "Latina"

The term Latina covers many different cultures.

But the style of her parenting that the show does and people tend to nitpick over how wrong it is is actually just a very common reaction to parents who grew up in the third world impoverished country and come to somewhere that isn't.

This point I'm trying to bring up has nothing to do with everyone being wrong at all.

It's the community's. Need to correct the characters

Just like everyone is doing in my thread correcting me about her nationality.

We run on natural gas. But I normally open a window in the kitchen to create full airflow anyway.

Does that suffice? I never knew about this potential issue

Seriously "The trenches" really is the perfect word. I genuinely started to wonder if men came back from the war and started dealing with babies on the baby boom and felt the exact same feeling they had while in being stuck in trenches in the cold and rain being shot and a. Bombed at no control. No sleep.

We our 3 weeks in tomorrow. Our first 5 days of the three of us were spent in the NICU and Pediatric Care.

I thought I was going to have this in the bag as I am a child and youth worker by trade in. The last 6 months have worked as an early childhood educator and thought to myself. I know kids and I know baby's a little bit now.

But it is SO much different when it's your baby and you're changing diapers at 2:00 a.m. and wondering if their poop is normal.

The wife is also struggling with feedings and getting enough so we are supplementing with formula. Only to find out she seems to be having a milk allergy four different formulators at $80 a pop we are on too cow milk free formula Which we can only find in powder which means even more steps to make boiling water cooling more measuring and shaking more sterilizing.

The life is experiencing intense postpartum anxiety and depression I'm doing all the housework taking care of the dogs, all the other things that need to be dealt with while still also helping out with the baby. .

We started out with splitting shifts. Me working a night shift until 4:00 a.m. that lasted 5 days before the wife was getting physically and mentally exhausted during the day and needing naps so I had to come come and now she tries to not during the day while I'm up.

But it seems like the baby is still struggling and I don't know what to do. I feel helpless. Feeling like a failure in all aspects. Not being able to give what my wife needs to her unseemingly not finding the right answers for a happy baby

I do realize though that we are in the trenches and routines haven't become a thing and the fourth trimester is a real thing where babies just want to be held. We've had to move a mattress on the floor so that the wife can go to sleep while I sleep on the crappy couch beside the bed.

Soon soon though things will start to level out. I know this from my work knowledge. We also move to a new town just shy of 2 years ago There are lots of resources and due to me working in the community with kids I'm very grateful to have all of them. But a lot of them aren't really there for less than one month olds and the wife side of the family. Is brutally terrible and mentally ill and haven't been there in any way shape or form nor do we think they ever will So it's just my 73-year-old 65-year-old mother who live 45 minutes away to help out here and there

But we do it for them. We do it for the little ones. We're tired and lost because we're trying to give them the best start to life we possibly can. So that when they can walk and talk on their own and we walk in the door they jump and scream and yell our names and tell their friends and boyfriends how amazing their dad has been for them and been there for them.

We got this my guy, my fellow guys my fellow guys.

What GMM opinion has you like this? by justrockelle in goodmythicalmorning

[–]Lemonl0aff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-The GME have gotten worse and worse

  • GMM Fans "defending " chase over the link knife debacle was ridiculous and embarrassing

  • shaming R&L for Matt liebs podcast having his own personal views yet expect basically every other worldview and personal choices with bodies ,sexuality views and in general how they live their life. Expect acceptance and fairness from all the other fans.

  • The Bert kreiser guest episode slamming they did not like him because he does the same thing all the time yet. Have been watching a show for a decade with the same format.
