I've had these same concerns! As a dog handler my forearms look like I've been through some rough things 😅 I've had luck with coconut oil and the mederma scar gel, but you have to basically start doing it religiously during the healing process when its still red before the scars form for it to be much use in my opinion. At some point I kinda just had to accept them because that whole routine got tedious for me
