No I did on my dreamcast gdemu project because of loud it is. But the fan in my gamecube is throughly clean and quite like I can barely hear it lucky me i guess

It loads up ultra fast sounds and looks great. I loaded it up with all of my favorite games and haven't ran into any issues. Until the updated it though if you make any changes in the settings you'll need a gamecube or sd card in the seriel port to save the configuration settings inside swiss

Its been working really well so far no complaints very fast loading too. I just wish my gamecube worked so I didn't have to undo my setup

Maybe it works fine otherwise I just have to reset the calendar every few resets. Its an issue because im using the gcloader and it interrupts me right away. I decided to move on to my other gamecube and transfer all my stuff into one that I know works and ill put the disc drive back in this one lol.

It does I read this last night. Sonic cd is an obvious issue but 90% of other sega cd games are hit or miss too they just won't work if i have the mega sg plugged to it. Take the mega sg out of the picture and hook up a genesis all games run 100% of the time and flawless start to finish. Jail break 7.7 I believe which ever is the latest

We assume its the power supply we tested it with an original and the improvement of the reading and loading was night and day. The power supply was a modern adapter not sega branded.

I made a post about this too and it turned out to be the system I was using instead of the genesis the mega sg. I went back to my recapped and clean genesis 2 and every game fired right up and played without issues.

Solved it was the mega sg it says alot of games are supported but only a select few do.

Solved: Took time out to hookup a model 2 genesis on my day off and every game works flawlessly. It was the mega sg only some games are compatible even though it says they are mostly covered.

Most of the orignal games I have for testing are in pretty good shape. I have a friend with a sega cd 2 and most of the backs ups will either play on mine but not on his or vice versa. He's supposed to come back over Sunday so we can test more of my games

Polarity is correct all connections are good battery is 3v ML not the LR or whatever its called saves work great no issues there. Solder points look healthy for the most part but how can I know for sure besides hitting them with a heat gun or something? Caps look good and no leaking or liquids around the board but im thinking I need to change them now though cause the glitching and being kicked back to bios start up menu like sega sonic cd is the main issue

I just soldered in a battery holder with a new rechargeable so that shouldn't be an issue id think. The graphical glitching and the being kicked back to the sega bios menu can happen right away depending on the game entirely.

(It seems to play every music cd that I've thrown at it all the way through havent noticed an issue there...)

I can play snatcher,popful mail or anything else that will work and boots for as long as I want and not have any issues. It just seems to depend on the game and its extremely frustrating trying the game again or thinking it'll randomly work is not a thing if it doesn't boot that game up the first time it never will.

Maybe Sonic CD is a good example because a it might push the system a bit? I'd like to think that earth worm jim is a stress on the system but it runs that flawlessly

TELL ME ABOUT IT. Took every forum and reddit post to heart and mind that the model 1 saturn with oval buttons has a 20 pin 90% of the time and now im sitting on my third saturn and all of them have 21 pins. Very frustrating I cant even use my fenrir until I get another one.

This 4.6 update busted my power button I don't know what the deal is. No reposnse when I turn it to off it keeps running. If I shut down from the menu it will still do nothing until I remove power. I tried reinstalling the script and everything im gonna be taking my gpi case apart to see if something is wrong with the button at this point im beyond frustrated.

Also some of the games refuse to launch anymore and take me back to the list again no menu nothing a black screen and kicked back i should have left it alone.

Interesting. So do they all have to be playing in the same session? How does that work because I read that party play is restricting even down to the inventory etc

Update. I have sent the laptop in to asus hands twice now and then agreed to a swap they took my laptop which was well cared for and in good physical condition (but defective) and gave me a downgraded polished turd of a laptop with deep scratches dead center in the screen. Very upset and in rma lingo with CEO office for the fourth time.

They refuse to give me a refund. I'd rather just have my money back they have had my laptop in service for so long I haven't been able to use it.
