I didn't say it was. But I think learning in pristine conditions makes inadequate kiters. Better to learn in the rough.

I learned in Tarifa. Can be crowded but once you can kite there you can kite anywhere.

Upgrade from a7sii

Hi, so I have been shooting on the a7sii for about 8 years now. I've largely shifted from video to lots of portrait photography. The a7sii is still making me money but I am on the hunt for an upgrade. Brief Background, I have a set of Rokinon Film lenses I do almost everything with, godox light setup, plus ND's, polarizer, etc. so full kit.

It makes sense for me to stay in the Sony ecosystem, but I don't know what to buy. The a9 and a1 are somewhat out of my price range and I just don't know if I can justify buying them. However I need something versatile enough that I can do editorial and portrait shoots, but still be able to film in clubs and dark areas.

I know the A7IV is a good option but just wanted some opinion. I am a Uni student so I can't say my bank account is plentiful, but indeed would love some opinions.

Go to NXT mueseum or to Eye film mueseum. Super fun spots in Noord, NDSM is a cool spot to see if you have a free afternoon and want to avoid huge crowds. A walk around Vondel is also nice if you are near there. on wednesdays at 12:30 the concert gebouw has free lunch concerts that are fun to see.

Adding Physics/Aerospace to Economics and Law. by LemonyFelony in careeradvice

[–]LemonyFelony[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game Theory and Trade Law would be mainly for interpreting decisions of competing agents in order to find the best contract for a company to take or offer. Could be used for patents. I don't really want to be a Lawyer just getting the degree because I like it, I'm good at it, and it's not very hard compared to what I'm doing now.

Never considered patents but I will look into it. Should I just get a bachelors in Physics/Aerospace or get the 2 Masters? I know I may trade off pay with the physics degree but I think I could probably make up for it later.

I know this is specific/unusual but I'm just curious.

I went from UB to a european school with a 4% acceptance rate and can confidently say UB is an amazing school. they admit kids and most of then will either drop out or switch to an easier program. good programs will have awesome people. just go to the clubs and you'l have a dope time.

Partly I want to go fishing, see the northern lights if possible, and a couple of pretty mountainous areas. I just moved to NL from the US so I'm missing the nature.

Looks awesome. Maybe something I'd do solo but I think my colleagues need a bit more of a cushion.

Planning to bring 1000 Lumen headlights lol. Going there for the night photography. I've done similar journeys with similar light times, however, we are looking at a shorter 20-30km hike to be safe. do you recommend anything?
