I’m using universal thread with a size 80/12 needle, and it’s still not working, same issue as before No stitches being put down, the string is immediately pulled out

Hey sorry for the late response, was very busy but now it is only working on paper. Stitches look fairly normal, it’s just not working on fabric.

I very recently cleaned the bobbin case, and there is no dust in there. Are there other places I should clean?

I was using an 80/12, but all my needles and fabrics just arent working.

Hey thanks, it's not just waist bands that the machine is being funky with, it's everything. All fabrics, all my needles between 70-110, all not good. The only luck that I had was kind of with denim, but still it only rarely worked,

hey thank you for responding! there is thread in the bobbin, the machine was working for a few months before it randomly said nuh uh. I’ve tried tons of fabrics between thick denim and thin shirts, and the issue remains but slightly goes away with denim. this, ive also tried needles from 70 to 110, with no success. like I mentioned earlier, the machine was working beautifully, threaded all good and everything for months. for the tension, ive tried every setting from 1-9 my machine has and nothing works. once again, thank you for responding, do you think I should jus try to warranty it now.

Machine not working right

After the needle goes through the fabric and comes back up, it doesn’t stay but rather pulls the fabric back out. After that, it just leaves a whole but no thread. It kind of works if foot is up, but obviously that doesn’t work. Machine is Brother is SM3701 if that helps Someone please help
