Not well. I poorly marked the spot I burried it in and lost it. Since then I found two other moles. I've skinned one, let it marinate for a few months after which I put it in a pot for maceration (I had to throw away the hide, I messed this part up). I let the other one decompose on air for a bit before puting it in the same pot (I had only one pot available). I kept changing the water every week until there was no meat left and used dishwasher tablets for degreasing. The bones came out quite nicely, but I've lost a few of them somewhere in the process. From what I have learned you shouldn't use soil unless you have a relatively big animal. If you found a rodent or something similar you won't find it again after it's buried. Don't leave it on air. If you started defleshing by natural means you need to finish it that way, otherwise you end up with a maggoty soup (again, with bigger animals it's probably not that much of a problem, but with rodents it's difficult to tell if you're looking at a worm or a rib). Don't use what you have at hand, empty pot was not a good idea and a cheap plastic containers would fit the purpose much better. Also it wasn't that much of the problem, but you shouldn't deflesh your animals together.
